This week, UK consumers queued for hours at the launch of PMI's new smoke-free device, which uses induction technology to heat rather than burn tobacco. This innovation has already proved a huge success in other countries, and it’s exciting to see so much interest in this less harmful alternative to smoking. Figures out this week show there are still 6.4 million adult smokers in the UK, so the launch is a major step forward in our pursuit of a smoke-free future.
