Here are the TECHNICAL aspects of a FIXED FULL ARCH CASE: the pre op conditions were just severe, collapsed bite, NO ORAL HYGIENE in YEARS! Imagine teeth literally held in placed by tartar/calculus. Some language barrier but not in comprehension, just conversing. Every tooth was mobile. The ‘traditional’ way to treat this case would be by taking impressions of the existing teeth. However, most if not all would come out and impression! A collapsed Vertical Dimension of Occlusion can be treated 1 of three ways generally speaking, open the bite/occlusion of either jaw or both, bone reduction of either jaw or both, and to add to the height of the teeth on the upper or lower jaw or both. Here we did a combination of all three!
