We are yet to see the AI boom!!!!   Everyone is talking all about LLMs, but that's just the smallest glimpse of what AI can actually do in our day-to-day lives.   80% of the so-called "AI startups" are finding use cases of not AI but LLM: "How can I get LLM on any website?" "How can I get insights on my KPIs?" etc. (After a point, such startups will find it hard to acquire new customers because the use case will be limited.)   Dhruva Goyal and I started working on AI back when it was not so cool.   We built Ananda, an ML-based yoga posture correction app (https://lnkd.in/g_Nex598), and the issue we faced was scalability.   The ML model on top of which we were building our application, Posenet by TensorFlow, was not optimised to work on lower GPU units like most Android phones.   We used to be in awe of what a simple tensorflow model could do. From vizulating angles and points on our body, figuring out what type of object is in the image, or simply segmenting text based on sentiments,.   Definitely, LLMs like GPT were a breakthrough innovation, but this is just a fraction of the entire AI innovation that is about to come in the next 10 years.   What would help? Startups don't need millions of dollars in funding; they need millions of lines of data. I feel that sharing datasets right now is the most ethical thing someone can do.   I am personally super interested in AI and IoT and am waiting to see when the Iron Man suit with Jarvis inbuilt will be made available to the public.   What's your take on AI?   #AI #Innovation #Tech #Funding #VC #Startup
