ICYMI (though we doubt you missed it!), the National Association of Realtors (NAR) settlement changes took effect on August 17, 2024. These updates are set to reshape the real estate landscape: 1. Buyer's agents' compensation is now capped at what the buyer agreed to, regardless of what the seller offers. 2. MLS compensation offers are no longer allowed. 3. MLS participants must now have written agreements with their buyers.
