One of the most effective ways to improve memory is through retrieval practice—actively pulling information from your brain rather than just reviewing it. I've been trying to practice more video creation and so I've been breaking down learning strategies like this in video form. You can watch them all on YouTube. I've been playing around with using AI-generated voices and I think it's okay? Especially just doing this for my own personal interest, I think it's actually quite decent. What are your thoughts? Overall, what do you think? I'd love your feedback! #LearningStrategies #InstructionalDesign #RetrievalPractice #Elearning https://lnkd.in/gKEKcUeE

Are humans a flawed learning system? I wrote a piece this week on how choice is predetermined by information, and the ways in which evolution is learned information taking shape. Read the whole piece here: https://lnkd.in/es7b8DPW

Here we will learn about the three terms used in the text preprocessing i.e. stop words, stemming and lemmatization. We will see the steps evolved in the text preprocessing. #stopwords #stemming #lemmatization #textpreprocessing #machinelearning https://lnkd.in/gdHuBBgj

Day 11 - Exploring Policy Gradient Methods in Reinforcement Learning! Today, I dove deep into Policy Gradient Methods, a powerful approach in Reinforcement Learning that optimizes policies directly to maximize rewards. Here are some key takeaways: Policy Gradient Overview: These methods learn a parameterized policy directly and adjust it to improve performance over time. Key Types: REINFORCE Algorithm: A simple policy gradient algorithm that uses complete episodes to update the policy. Actor-Critic Methods: Combines policy gradient with value function approximation, where the actor learns the policy and the critic evaluates the action. Resources I Found Helpful: OpenAI Spinning Up: A great resource to understand the foundations and practical implementations of RL. https://lnkd.in/d2_9xG_E #reinforcement_learning #LearningUtsav #FestivalOfLearning #LUD11 Learning Utsav Also for the notes check out my other posts.

https://lnkd.in/g3Cbhebq One the best tips for writing effective prompt is one of the first ones in this guide - “These models can’t read your mind”. The remaining instructions merely give you tips on clarifying what’s on your mind and translate them into a language that LLMs can understand. As humans, we use a lot of implicit assumptions in our communication. They serve us well by making our language succinct, increase the volume of our conversation and in some cases help us casually associate ourselves with a group. However LLMs do not know you and they do not care. You’re as clear as you want them to know you. I hope that the process of writing clean prompts will help us all re-evaluate the current accepted protocols for our communication and challenge us to be more explicit, less nunanced and hence through the process be less biased. #llms #promptengineering

Claude 3 released a few days ago and with it came a load of new features including the ability to understand images, graphs, screenshots and technical diagrams. Curious on how to use it? Im sharing this resource that Anthropic posted on prompts. This is a great starting point for anyone who wants to explore #ai and it's possiblities. #aiprompts are sorted by end use which I find to be a great way to approach learning. If you're curious about AI and how to use it for a myriad of use cases, check out the link below and let me know what you think! #claude3 #aipromptlibrary #airesources #aiusecases #howtouseai

I'm really, really excited about this one. How do you like to educate yourself? For me, like many others, it depends! How broadly do I want to explore a subject? What areas do I need to drill down on? Do I want to read a few books on it? Should I dig into the latest academic articles or maybe just skim a YouTube video or two during my lunch break? It can be time-consuming to curate your "lesson plan". But that's changing. I've always wanted a resource that could guide me through the process of exploring a topic interactively, push my thinking in certain areas, expand on topics upon request, suggest the best resources, and adjust the level of depth as I go. Introducing LearningHub. A GPT that breaks the conventional way we learn. https://lnkd.in/e8HVfkCH
