I Connect 🤝 Providers to Effective Cognitive Behavioral Therapy 🧠 🔑 🔓 Feel Better ⚡️FASTER⚡️ with Feeling Good Institute

One of the unexpected and wonderful things about working at Feeling Good Institute is the spotlight it's put on #mentalhealth and effective communication in my personal life. As a #mom of a 6 and 8-year-old, I've been inspired to 'up my game' as a parent. I'd love to recommend the #book: 13 Things Mentally Strong Parents Don't Do, by Amy Morin. It's a great listen on #audible, and when I'm having a tough parenting day, listening for even 10-15 mins brings me back to center and actually relieves me of mom guilt. I'm realizing as my kids get older and more complex, I need parenting books now more than ever! One thing this book taught me that's helped a lot: If we raise our kids with zero adversity, we not doing them any favors. In order to be equipped for the real world, they should experience adversity and learn how to cope healthily. Does anyone else struggle with #parenting guilt? If so, what has helped you?

Thank you for sharing this relatable and important message, Katie! We're honored to have you on our team and encourage folks to learn more about parenting, children and adolescents by following Feeling Good Institute and getting to know more about the incredible #CBT therapists who are experts on this topic, and more. Dr. Taylor Chesney has excellent parenting tips and tools to share.
