This is huge! Selling services alongside of complex #SaaS#software#sales can be a force multiplier for partner revenue contribution. In the past, you would often have to split a cloud marketplace purchase order between software via the marketplace and services via a different channel. Amazon Web Services (AWS) is demonstrating its 'customer obsession' but unlocking a new ISV revenue stream by easing the transaction friction and tapping into new partner value. The potential implications on #ManagedServices via the marketplace are also massive. Nice work Matt Yanchyshyn and #marketplace team!
"Services can include implementation, assessments, managed services, training, or premium support. With this release, AWS Marketplace sellers can authorize other sellers to receive wholesale pricing on professional services, enabling sellers to offer support or implementation services in addition to software in AWS Marketplace. The authorized partner can then use the resell authorization to customize pricing, duration, and legal terms to offer professional services that best meets customers’ needs."

AWS Marketplace now provides private marketplace support for Organizational units (OUs), allowing you to create, manage, and govern private marketplace catalogs for OUs within your AWS Organizations.
Previously, you were limited to governing private marketplace catalogs at the AWS account level or for your entire organization.
This launch enhances private marketplace functionality, allowing you to scale your software governance across your organization while increasing agility and enabling faster software procurement.
