Witnessing the Power of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics(STEM) I am excited to share with you today a system I developed to aid visually impaired persons using components available in the Tinker Orbit kit. The system functions primarily by using an infrared sensor( IR Sensor) to detect obstacles that may be encountered by the visually impaired person from a distance and utilizes a buzzer to alert said person of the surrounding obstructions or hazards. This enables the person to change his or her movement to avoid injury. Students who study STEM courses become creative, and creative people can use STEM disciplines in tandem to address problems in real life. The main goal of STEM education is to tackle real world issues by combining classroom activities and experiences. Therefore, rather than approaching Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics as independent courses, it is a collaborative method focused on problem solving. Special thanks to my supervisor Harsh Vardhan Chaudhary for the guidance. #sensors #arduinoprojects #robotics #stemeducation #Technology #engineering #creativity #innovation #problemsolving

🔋 Do you know what a battery level indicator is? It’s a handy tool that shows how much charge is left in your battery. Simple indicators use lights—green for full, yellow for halfway, and red for low—so you always know when it's time to recharge. This helps prevent unexpected shutdowns in devices like phones, laptops, electric vehicles, and remote controls. Want to explore more about tech and innovation? It’s been an exciting summer on campus as 240 high schoolers joined us for YTS - our Young Technology Scholars program. 🧪🧬 The 2024 batch designed, built and applied creative systems that tackle some of real-world challenges. Read on to see how these curious tinkerers became innovators of change! 1. Biodiesel from Algae or ‘PooPower’ Water is indeed an untapped resource. Students learned to treat #wastewater via bioremediation, generate clean water and even use it to make #biofuels that could power vehicles. 2. Multimodal Cardiac Bio-Sensing Framework Students built a fully functional, portable ECG monitoring device by integrating the software with the hardware. Not only could their devise plot ECG data but also detect anomalies in heartbeats and signals, while teaching them the practical application of ML algorithms. 3. Ag-Bots From large plantations to family-owned farms, ag-bots are the future, often increasing productivity and making systems more #sustainable. To introduce students to the science of precision #agriculture, the group built a robot, assembled a UGV and designed automated solutions while learning about electronics, soldering, and microcontrollers. 4. Teleoperated Robot Controlling a #rover or robotic arm with a remote is tricky yet essential, especially in places too dangerous for human contact. That’s why our scholars built a teleoperated robotic platform that helped them understand Bluetooth communication for short distances, RF communication for longer distances, the functioning of microcontrollers, and the challenges to maneuver the rover in the arena. 5. Weather Information System for Smart Homes (WISSH) Building an anemometer with 3D printing was another exciting project students worked on. They saw how to monitor the weather, measure wind speed, calculate AQI and calibrate temperature sensors in extreme environments. 6. Body wearable sensor for Parkinson’s patients (BWS) To understand #Parkinson’s, young scholars learned to study signals and collect data on body movements. For further insights, they used sensor fusion algorithms to minimize errors while synchronizing data collection from 12 sensors simultaneously. While these projects were the highlight of the program, they weren't the end. Students got a chance to interact with industry leaders, meet the faculty and participate in fun activities too. ☀️ Hanu Singh | Ravi Jasuja | Dr. Malini Balakrishnan | Monika Sharma | Shashikant Pawar | Arshdeep Sidhu #ExperientialLearning #LearningByDoing #SummerProgram #STEM #Engineering #Engineers #SchoolStudents #HighSchoolStudents #Tech #ScienceProjects #ReimaginingTechEd #UniversityofFuture #CreatorsFirst #Plaksha #Education #Engineers #3DPrinting #Robot #AI #ML #WeatherSystems #ECG #Invention #WomenInSTEM

Sometimes science fiction films bring a deep understanding of complex engineering concepts. I have just finished Inception film, building a dream inside a dream that will duplicate time and building a synchronized system to follow the changes across multidimensional time acceleration, to calculate the moment from inside the third layer of the dream that the root of the milliseconds is clocking in the previous dream and linking it to the main world time concept. I have noticed multiple applications for this concept: Like the concept of calculus (integration and differentiation) that always students struggle with understanding, they just calculate it by formulas, but this specific application makes them capable of understanding how the acceleration in the third layer of the dream will function of the velocity of the previous dream that by making another integration and then compound this function with the real-time function will calculate the exact moment in each time dimension, that what students need to get a deeper understanding of the changes of the time and how to fix this complex concept of (deferential equations) There is another concept in electronic circuits that can be more understandable by this movie (in fact it is way easier than the deferential equations) am referring to the Darlington Transistors Pair, which makes you able to amplify the signal multiple times by adding more layers of transistors that will make the Base current of each layer is the amplified current of the previous layer, so that gives you the ability to amplify by β³ times or even more. The point is that you can bring a deep understanding of complex and advanced science to your students by bringing visuals and some joy to make them understand the concept and make it reusable for new problems that won't be there at that moment. Who am I?! I am Mulham, a Mechatronics Engineer and STEM Instructor If you looking for someone who will replace the old methodology of education and level up your students understanding to follow the rapid changes, you are in the right place, Comment Here and I will contact you. #Inception #fiction #Inceptionfilm #sciencefiction #stem #Mechatronics #engineering #science #technology #math #mathematics #calculus #defrantial #defrantialequations #defrantialequation #physics #education #Progtronics
