Today we released the NP4271 series, a 500-mA LDO voltage regulator with built-in watchdog timers and reset functions by window-type output voltage monitoring for automotive applications. This product contributes to system miniaturization and construction of systems with stable operation and enhanced security by containing WDTs with excellent timing accuracy, reset functions with highly high-accuracy window-type output voltage monitoring, and an LDO with fast transient response into a single chip. Expected applications include automotive ECUs for headlights and air conditioning panels, etc. The quality grade of the NP4271 series is P grade for chassis and body control, and cockpit systems.
