Not one patient is the same, nor is every community, everyone should be represented in clinical trials. Clinical trial data should reflect the disease population. I am seeking Parkinson’s Disease treating HCP’s, advocates, clinical trial administrators, and IRB members to take part in two 45-minute group interviews as part of a research project for a master’s project on improvement of sponsored clinical trial diversity strategy in medical device trials. If interested DM me and we can connect on specifics. Note: This is not a Medtronic sponsored project. Project is for University of Minnesota School of Public Health Master’s Project. #parkinsonsdisease #DBS #Clinicalresearch #publichealth #clinicaltrialdiveristy

98% of clinical trial volunteers want feedback. In a previous Patient Insights Report we produced, we conducted a comprehensive research project to understand patient preferences regarding clinical trial feedback. The results are clear and compelling. Patients are eager for feedback, and trial sponsors are willing to provide it, but both parties face challenges in bridging this gap By working together, we can ensure that patients receive the information they need and deserve, fostering a more transparent and supportive clinical trial environment. Do you want patient input into your clinical research work? Then get in touch with us. We can provide you with data, insights and input on patient opinions and experiences from our more than 250,000 members in our patient communities across Europe. #ClinicalTrials #Patients #Patientinsights #Patientengagement

Participating in a clinical trial can be challenging for patients and requires planning and decision-making from a group of people who are already spending much of their energy on managing their disease. So how can we improve their experience of participating in a clinical trial? I believe this article presents some constructive solutions, such as involving patients more meaningfully in planning the journey of trial participation by including the patient voice in the design and development phases of a clinical trial. 👂 Rewarding patients' engagement and expressing appreciation for their participation in clinical trials can also be done to ensure they feel valued and recognised for their time and effort. 💙 I believe we need to discuss the current experience offered to clinical trial participants and how we can improve it. By doing this, we can hopefully identify new implementations that can improve the participant experience and help clinical trials move forward. ✨ #clinicaltrials #patientengagement #clinicalresearch
