[FIVE NEWS EPS 3: DIBALIK TEMBOK KOTA ELIT PIK 2: PEMISAH DUA KEHIDUPAN BERBEDA] On Wednesday, August 7, 2024, FIVE NEWS successfully uploaded its third episode on Youtube FIVE TV UPN Veteran Jakarta entitled "DIBALIK TEMBOK KOTA ELIT PIK 2: PEMISAH DUA KEHIDUPAN BERBEDA". This episode tells about the wall that became a separator due to the construction of PIK 2 which is planned to be a PSN (Proyek Strategis Nasional or National Strategic Project). Because of this large 3-meter-high wall, the citizen's road access is closed and must detour as far as 32km or for one and a half hours. In addition, citizens also felt damaged roads, flooding, and increased temperatures due to closed air space. This also makes the wall a silent witness to the social gap between the luxurious area of PIK 2 and the affected villages. Some of the villages affected by the construction of this wall are Muara, Lemo and Salembaran Villages. Although there are many negative impacts from the construction of PIK 2 & this separation wall, it turns out that from the civil's perspective there are positive impacts felt from the construction of PIK 2 because the development company Agung Sedayu Group is quite responsible and provides solutions, namely providing free education & new jobs for people affected by eviction. This development company also always communicates with residents and always listens to residents' complaints. From the perspective of urban planning experts, this is actually not in accordance with the principles of urban planning because it causes damage to occur and must adjust to the government regulations that have been made regarding property development. Since this is also related to the property development business, one of the things the company usually does is to build a wall that divides the development area. However, it seems this has become a new problem because it causes an impact so that the stakeholders of the Agung Sedayu Group company must be responsible for the impact.
