💬Your FAQs answered… All stoves and flue systems must be swept minimum once per year if burning wood only, or if burning smokeless fuels, then twice per year👍 The chimney sweep will usually sweep up through the stove (depending on model and access) and sweep the liner or twin wall flue system. It is imperative you use an accredited chimney sweep who will issue you a sweep certificate. Receipt of payment is not deemed a certificate! Keep the certificates safe as this will be required should you ever need to claim on any warranties. If you require a chimney sweep we recommend The Yorkshire Chimney Sweep – 07392 426345. ❓Find more answers to many of the FAQs from our customers at: https://lnkd.in/ewhQeYAK

Question for Ross Charters and Russell Rafton's kinda crew. I have a corrugated Flexi duct that takes shower steam through ceiling, through inline fan and then, for lack of a better option, is twisted and bent and squashed down between roof felting and wall topper to exhaust out vertically down through the roof eave. It's short but tortured. Is it worth lining that corrugated duct to make it smooth to improve effeciency and reduce turbulence and places where dust can accumulate? Or are we talking marginal gains? I've got a simple relining system, so that part is easy.
