Did you know that obesity rates have been increasing since the 1980s? It's clear we need to change how we talk about and treat obesity. In Omada's latest whitepaper, we focus on the need to reframe obesity as a complex chronic condition that requires long-term, often lifelong treatment. This is especially true in the age of GLP-1s. !!NEW PUBLICATION!! We examined the association between obesity and patient-reported outcomes measures (PROMs) in a primary care-based cohort of people with polymyalgia rheumatica (PMR). In conclusion, obesity associates with poorer outcomes for a range of PROMs in people with PMR. Consideration should be given to providing weight management support to people with PMR and obesity. #PMR #PROMs #obesity https://lnkd.in/dXQi8B-x
