Unique among sports fans, college football fandom can often extend into entire conferences, not just the school someone happens to cheer for. Among college football fans, the Big Ten Conference is the most popular conference. The Southeastern Conference is close behind, followed by the Big 12 Conference. Posting this article because it is an excellent analogy that can almost universally be understood given the brand that is Notre Dame. This isn’t about football to me; it’s about criticism and arrow slinging without all the facts. In the social media world where everyone has an opinion (and sadly most are negative), let this be a reminder to check the facts first and always educate yourself before rushing to judgment or making important life decisions. Always be curious, gather as much real/true information as you can from all angles and all sides and have the courage to evangelize TRUTH in all things.
