Back on the recruiter grind today and the struggle is real. I’ve seen several great posts about how to get noticed as a candidate. In case you haven’t, here’s a short version. INSIDER (Not So) SECRET The easiest way to get a recruiter to call you… 1. Review the position and its job description. 2. Make sure your true experience fits. 3. Update your resume to reflect how your experience aligns with the job description. 4. Submit your updated resume to the position you aligned it to (not one size fits all). 🚫 Does it always work… no. ✔ Is it a great start... you betcha! If you take the time to apply, make it count. You Got This!!!! Now back to reviewing these resumes hoping to find some 💎.

Today is half of the #dailyuichallenge I designed a user-focused, simple-to-use employment application. In this application, personalized job postings are published on the home screen. You can access the advertisements that appear when you search. I aimed to avoid information density by separating the job posting and company details on the job posting page. 👩💻 👨💻 I present it to your liking. 🌼 P.S. Wait for the prototype on the link UIX101 #UIX #UIX101

If you make it 5x harder to apply… you’ll get 1/5th the applicant flow. It’s simple math! But no… the 4/5th that don’t apply won’t be the unqualified ones… or lazy ones… or the less interested ones…. They’ll be the most qualified ones. You see… at that point of the process you most likely haven’t made the case for why someone should want to work for you. It’s your first date! For most employers… it’s a blind date! Look at your job ad and indeed profile and ask yourself… “Based only on what our ad says… what type of applicant would be willing to go thru all of the effort that we are asking them to?” The answer most likely is… the most desperate ones! And I doubt that’s who you view as highly qualified candidates!

COO & Co-founder of Questo | Looking for the first 1 million people who will make money by creating city games
Reviewing 500+ candidates who apply for a job is not easy. But some of them make the process go faster 🤣 After reviewing all the candidates who have applied so far, I have found 3 who will get the challenge. There are still 2 spots available, so you have time to apply this week. Here’s how you can get one of those spots: 1️⃣ Check the job description on our page. 2️⃣ Read the job description (from my estimation, more than 70% don't read the announcement). 3️⃣ Send an email that you think will convince me to have a call with you. 3.1. Add a meme or a joke 😉
