DO YOU NEED TO SELL A SPORTS CLUB? Hire a 30-year experienced consultant to get the job done. From identifying your current status to market compatibility to securing a buyer. All work executed on a retainer-only basis. Most club directors will only ever sell their own club so perhaps it's an idea to find some knowledge on the topic.

Awesome spotlight by Sinéad Butler on Salina Kheraj, CPHR, who is a Recruitment Consultant within EA SPORTS!! If you are looking for some great tips, tricks and advice on applying to our Sports Tech + Central Ops teams, enjoy the read below! ⚽ 🏈 🏒 ⛳
✨ We're back online after a lovely holiday break (thank you EA SPORTS!) and busier than ever so I thought I'd do something different and interview my fabulous colleague Salina Kheraj, CPHR on life at EA and her open roles! ✨ What is your role at EA? I’m a Recruitment Consultant based in Vancouver and have been with EA SPORTS for 2 and a half years. The teams I support are FC, NHL, UFC, and the Sports Tech and Central Ops teams. I primarily hire for the Development Director (PM), Product Management, and Production job families. What’s the most exciting aspect of your role? The opportunity to connect with talented and creative minds and help facilitate their journey into EA. The innovation and collaboration within our team is not just about filing roles, but fostering a community of individuals who can collectively shape the future of gaming. The constant evolution of the industry ensures that every recruitment effort is a chance to be part of something groundbreaking, making my role both challenging and exciting. What do you look for when reviewing resumes for your open roles? When I review resumes and speak to candidates, technical skills are undoubtedly important. But beyond certain expertise in specific technologies or game development tools, I look for candidates who exhibit a natural curiosity, a passion for continuous learning and critical thinking, and ability to work in dynamic environments. The fast-paced nature of EA SPORTS requires individuals who are adaptable and possess a collaborative mindset. What advice would you give someone applying for your roles? My advice would be to craft your application to not only highlight your skills but also to demonstrate how your experience aligns with the specific needs of the role you are applying for. Emphasize any projects or contributions that showcase your creativity and problem-solving abilities. Additionally, don’t underestimate the value of networking within the gaming community. Attend industry events, engage with online forums, and connect with professionals in the field. Lastly, demonstrate your willingness to learn and adapt, as the gaming industry is ever evolving. Keep your portfolio and resume up to date, stay informed about industry trends, and express your genuine enthusiasm for being a part of the exciting world of gaming. Why should people work for EA Sports? We are a group of innovative, daring, talented, and diverse people who put people first. And together, we’re planning to continue advancing play and bringing sports entertainment to new heights. We collaborate and ask for different perspectives; innovate; and infuse passion into everything we do. In addition, we know that we’re at our strongest collectively when each of us feels included, valued, and heard – and we hold a shared commitment to driving a more diverse and inclusive work environment. Why I would be a great social media strategist for VALORANT Esports: 1) I built the collegiate social brands for three separate Esports teams for League of Legends, Overwatch, and Hearthstone (all while managing them solo). 2) As the Director of Content for the Atlanta Reign Overwatch team, I oversaw all socials for the team's second season of Overwatch League 3) At SteelSeries I managed the brand strategy that all regional accounts followed for product launches and activations. My job was to post on the main global account (1+million followers) and to help regional accounts grown their followings. 4) I grew social accounts for a Mark Cuban start-up including a real-time virtual influencer who was a gamer who garnered 400,000+ followers in our first 6 months of strategy. Just shooting my shot. Any likes/shares appreciated. #socialmedia #lookingforwork
