"The moral of the Senegalese story is that freedom comes from struggle."
Sowore Omoyele discusses Senegal's youngest President, Bassirou Diomaye Faye, who was elected at 44. He questions when Africa lost the vision of young, vibrant leadership, citing colonial interference and veteran leaders clinging to power. Addressing the youth of Nigeria, he asks a poignant question, "When will you rise to the challenge of leadership?"

Sheikh Mohamed’s emphasis on the 50-year relationship between the UAE and the U.S. underscores the strength of their strategic alliance. Both countries have worked to maintain stability and foster economic growth, showing the endurance of their partnership despite changing administrations.
As Sheikh Mohamed’s acknowledgment of Trump’s efforts highlights how personal diplomacy and individual leadership styles can influence global alliances. Trump’s approach to the Middle East, including the Abraham Accords, marked a turning point in the region, benefiting the UAE.
Also Sheikh Mohamed’s discussions with Bush on historical challenges reflect the UAE’s acknowledgment of the difficulties the Middle East has faced. The UAE’s ability to navigate these challenges alongside U.S. leadership demonstrates its diplomatic agility.
African leaders and their gimmickish way of life, so humiliating to me.
Instead of the Kenyan president, William Ruto, to hold a retreat (at least a day) with the protesting youths or their leaders/conveners, he’s here in church crying!!! Nah who cry help?
Create avenues for youths to make their voices heard, to make them know that they are important. Collate their reasons for protesting, make meaningful plans to fulfill them, implement the plans to the least, make governance admirable for them like Kenyatta did, the people’s voice is the voice of God.
At least, you are better than a president who is doing everything to stop the youths from exercising their human right but the Kenyan youths didn’t protest because you haven’t cried in church, they protested because the prices of common-man’s goods have skyrocketed, they protested because unemployment has increased, they protested because their income has reduced while you and your peers have increased your emoluments, they protested because they can’t see anything meaningful or any plan visible for a better or greater Kenya in the nearest future, they protested because they are tired of all the hardships you and your peers keep putting them on daily basis.
You were voted into power to make Kenya better than what your predecessors made it, to take her higher than where your predecessors left it, to make it a better place for all Kenyans. If you can’t do that, please resign. Don’t put your legs in a shoe you can’t carry and if you find yourself in such a situation, off the shoe!! Failure is just success telling you “not that way”.
How many of your manifesto goals have you achieved? How many of your campaign promises have you fulfilled? How many of your dreams (if any) for Kenya & Kenyans have you made a reality?
This is a lesson for all African leaders, don’t say it can’t happen, #NeverSayNever, we never thought it will happen (since 2020) in Niger, Mali, Sudan, Guinea, Burkina Faso, Gabon, and Chad. These are African nations that have “made peaceful change impossible” until “violent change caught them unaware”, I pray Nigeria never thread that path again in her history, may we not witness another military coup in Africa, Amen.
Kenyans deserves better so please, make that better a reality.
Africa deserves greatness so please, create that greatness as a leader.
A clarion call for all African leaders.
May Nigeria succeed, Amen.
May Kenya succeed, Amen.
May Africa thrive in the committee of nations, Amen.

ARROGANCE in Power shall ONLY execute the inevitable. Your speedy but LONELY disgrace and downfall at the very end...
President William Ruto Of Kenya, A Reasonable Lesson Today For Unconscienable African Leaders...
This was one of the most inspiring messages of the first day of The Skoll Foundation's Skoll World Forum.
In the lead-up to this, Former Prime Minister of New Zealand, Jacinda Ardern, said, "We teach our kids kindness. We teach our kids curiosity. We teach them generosity. And at some point, we stop expecting that of our leaders."
When we no longer dismiss sensitivity, compassion, empathy, and vulnerability as leadership traits, and create an inclusive space for people who embody these traits, we open the door to profound shifts in both leadership and systemic change.

What makes a "good" leader? Former New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern points to sensitivity and compassion, traits that are too often dismissed. #SkollWF
The report by Xinhua that DRC President Felix Tshisekedi has agreed to meet his Rwandan counterpart President Paul Kagame to discuss the ongoing instability in the eastern DRC is a good development. Finding a lasting and sustainable peace in eastern DRC requires concerted effort. Accusations and counter accusations as to who is sponsoring the M23 rebels will not bring an end to the fighting. The solution is for the two leaders to sit down and strategise on how they can work together to bring an end to this protracted fighting which has claimed many innocent lives and displaced millions. A solution can surely be found but it requires leadership.
"Strategic Leadership for the Modern Era: Navigating Challenges with Vision"
The Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) diplomatic leadership was marked by strategic vision, ensuring that his actions led to long-term peace and prosperity.
As Hello Bangkok News illustrates, today’s diplomatic leaders must possess the same foresight to navigate complex global challenges.
Just as the Prophet employed thoughtful strategies to unite tribes and build a cohesive society, we too must lead with vision and wisdom to ensure that our diplomatic efforts contribute to a peaceful and stable world.
Thank you to Hello Bangkok News for highlighting the importance of strategic leadership in shaping the future of global diplomacy.

A government that collaborates with it's youths is a government that has plans for the future. Youths are most often referred to as the leaders of tomorrow, the future of every country yet, most government finds it difficult to get youths involve in democratic Process and decision making. How can you plan about our future without taking into consideration our point of view. it's time for an all inclusive Africa were the voices of the youths have a place.
Am therefore inviting you to join us at African Youths Leadership Diplomatic Conference in Addis Ababa Ethiopia where we shall join and speak in one voice. We shall further discuss avenues to promote Peace, Unity and Partnership for Development. We equally look at the level of implementation of the UNSCR on youths involvement in Peace building initiatives.
the time to act is now. get involved so we make the Africa we want.
