Resume & Career Coach for Dietitians | Dietetic Educator | Helping Dietitians land jobs & secure winning salaries
Are you tired of seeing this too? Several of my clients have gone through the full interview process for "remote" positions only to be told that onsite is preferred. Or they have been that it's a "remote" job because they'll be traveling from site to site and won't have an office or desk. Other clients have been told that a work-from-home is "in the works". Personally, I wouldn't sign that contract unless you're okay with remote not becoming a reality. I've also seen clinical dietitian roles advertised as "30%" remote, but then there is no accommodation or access for the RD to chart from home. 💡 Can we agree that none of these scenarios are going to lead to a great fit?💡 ❌ Let's stop wasting everyone's time by lack of transparency! Wow! I can’t imagine using deceptiveness as a tool to attract candidates.
Transparency is key in the job search process for sure. It's all about finding the right fit. Kelan Sarnoff, MS, RDN
That’s really nefarious that people would do that!
I agree!
oh no! are companies/recruiters really doing this? That's shameful!
