Still growing… The global commercial aircraft Parts Manufacturer Approval (PMA) market was valued at $11,318.55 million in 2023, and is expected to grow to $14,366.31 million by 2030. The market's growth is driven by several factors, including the increase in air passengers, the low cost of PMA parts, and the expansion of air routes. #aviation #businessopportunities #aerospace

The sweep angle of the wing on a Boeing 747 exceeds that of any other commercial aircraft. The 747 holds the record for having the greatest wing sweep angle among all commercial aircraft worldwide. That is an impressive angle of 37.5 degrees. This significant wing sweep plays a crucial role in the aircraft’s performance, as a higher sweep angle allows for increased speed. In fact, the 747 is capable of cruising at an impressive Mach 0.85 (490 knots; 900 km/h). #boeing #boeing747 #boeing737 #boeinglovers #boeing787 #boeing777 #aerospace #aerospaceengineering #aerospaceindustry #aerospacemanufacturing #aerospaceanddefense #aeronauticalengineering #aerodynamics #aviation #aviationgeek #aviationindustry #aviationnews #aviationdaily #aviationlovers #aircraft #aircraftengineer

The Pratt & Whitney PW4000 engine family is a 'sunset' programme in the commercial market (the last new-build widebody equipped with this powerplant for an airline was delivered almost seven years ago), but the in-service fleet remains more than 500 strong, having recovered from a low point of just below 350 at the height of the pandemic. We can now add another layer of insight into the outlook for the PW4000 support market by bringing in data from Cirium's recently-launched Ground Events Analytics module, which tracks actual airframe maintenance events. This shows an average of approximately 20 airframe checks being completed per month, and it can be inferred that these aircraft will likely continue flying and consuming engine life until their next checks fall due. While a significant proportion of the remaining PW4000-powered fleet is made up of freighters, Ground Events also shows Delta Air Lines and United Airlines have completed cabin retrofits for almost 100 passenger variants. It will be interesting to see how the PW4000 market is impacted as Airbus and Boeing ramp up deliveries of their latest-generation widebodies. #cirium #aerospace #aeroengines #mro

During our market update webinar we discussed our outlook for 2024 - forecasting 12% growth in new delivery numbers this year. Although Q1 is the quietest of the year, it is useful to check in on progress; well over 2023 we are actually about 9% down on business aviation deliveries - numbers have fallen by half at Pilatus while Textron is down 20%. Embraer has started the year strong - deliveries are up 53% with 17 handovers in Q1 2024. Supply chain woes may still be with us. #businessaviation Cirium
In his latest video, Daniel Hall - Senior Valuations Consultant at Cirium Ascend Consultancy, explores new deliveries and forecast activities in the business aviation sector following the FAA and EASA certifications that were awarded to Gulfstream Aerospace's new G700 aircraft. #businessjet #businessjets #bizjets #businessaviation #AviationFinance #aircraft #fleets #aerospace #aviation #business #Cirium #AscendConsultancy

🛫 The aerospace #supplychain is still stretched. #aircraft manufacturers struggle to get up to speed to serve #airlines and serve on record high orderbooks, but Boeing is obviously running much lower than Airbus. Aircraft that also revised down production forecast. Director of Business Development at JSSI | Supporting business aviation operators and aircraft owners by providing solutions to optimize their maintenance costs with JSSI
As we approach the end of Q3 and the end-of-year rush, even though the US presidential election brings some uncertainty, the strong results of 2024-Q2 should help us stay enthusiastic. Business jet deliveries rose by nearly 9% (YoY) in the first half of 2024, while total airplane billings increased by more than 24%. Gulfstream (+17), Bombardier (+10), Dassault (+3), Embraer (+7), and Cessna (-1) did an excellent job to maintain their delivery promise and increase 2023 production. - Gulfstream 160 deliveries planned vs. 111 in 2023 - Bombardier 150 deliveries planned vs. 128 in 2023 - Embraer 125 new deliveries planned vs. 115 in 2023 If you're looking for tailored maintenance solutions for your new aircraft deliveries, I’m available for a call. Let’s discuss how JSSI can help! #JSSI #BIZZAV #Gulfstream #Bombardier #Dassault
