Some fraudulent activities involving fake job postings and requests for money under the name of Physics Wallah (PW), especially for faculty recruitment, are being perpetrated to deceive numerous individuals with false offer letters. We want to clarify and alert everyone to be wary of such suspicious emails, calls, texts, or WhatsApp messages claiming to be from PW representatives. We strictly DO NOT ASK FOR MONEY during our hiring process or endorse or support such practices in our recruitment process. We issue offer letters only through our HRMS portal, using the email address hrms@pw.live Let's spread this message to raise awareness. Here is a screenshot of the HRMS portal to help verify that emails received are not from unauthorized sources.

It's not uncommon for companies, especially startups, to exaggerate job requirements or inflate their growth status to attract attention and investment. By doing this they would want to create a buzz and attract more business and valuations. This tactic can create a perception of rapid growth/expansion and success, potentially leading to increased interest from potential clients and investors. However, it's important for job seekers and investors to critically evaluate these claims and conduct thorough research before making decisions. While some companies may genuinely be experiencing significant growth, others may be exaggerating their status for strategic reasons for short term gins.
