I help individuals and organizations increase their knowledge, make better decisions, and get work done.

In 1960 #JamesStewart and #LisaLu appeared in “The Mountain Road” which depicted a demolition squad tasked with destroying airfields, bridges, and ammunition dumps to slow the advance of an enemy army. Today’s pyrotechnics often steal the show. In this movie, however, a slow-burning fuse paces the plot to an explosive revelation – the failure of #modernism. The dialog juggles #injustice, #power, #irrationality, the #breakdown of #socialorder, and questions about #lifeinvestment and #meaning. Here are links to three sequential clips which boil the narrative to a saucy reduction. (Sorry about switching metaphors.) Forgive me for not packaging the three into one longer clip, but YT allows only 60 seconds per. Each clip begins with the same splash screen, so give it a few seconds. If not tidy systems thinking, then what? https://lnkd.in/g3naTiFj https://lnkd.in/gHmtzjrq https://lnkd.in/gxRkWw3E
