Why is usually an AC wire a composite wire of many tiny wires wound together but a DC wire a single thick wire? You are comparing what is called stranded wire with solid wire. It has nothing to do with AC or DC. The choice usually depends on flexibility required. For example, AC power cords for appliances like hair dryers, lamps, computers etc are usually made with stranded wire so the cord can lay comfortably along the floor. It can be flexed and bent many times. AC power wires in the wall from the circuit breaker to the wall outlets are composed of solid wire. Its cheaper and is set to a position and stapled into place so that it won’t move in 50 or 100 years. Bend it more than a few times, it can fracture and break. Almost exclusively, all household in wall wiring is solid unless its too big to be able to bend to fit. So its not because of DC or AC, its the mechanical properties requires for the job.

Here are five key considerations to help you make the best choice when it comes to pool liner 🖐 1) Liner thickness: a thicker liner offers better durability and longevity. Always opt for high-quality — fewer replacements and lower long-term costs. 2) Installation Process: consider some liners are pre-cut for easy installation, while others need to be welded on the spot. 3) Maintenance: look for liners that are easy to clean. The right liner should minimize extra maintenance work. 4) Color: while classic blue is always a great choice, consider trendy colors like grey or sand. You could be surprised! 5) Warranty: make sure to check the warranty terms to ensure you’re covered

How to use an earthing fitted sheet? Step 1: Check Your Outlets For Ground Connect it to the “ground port” of a grounded 3 prong outlet. Before plugging in your Earthing product, check if the outlet is grounded by plugging in the outlet checker. Step 2: Setting Up The Fitted Sheet 1.Place the Earthing sheet over your mattress 2. Insert one end of the Earthing cord into the ground port (third hole) of a properly grounded wall outlet or connect to cord of an Earthing ground rod placed in the Earth outside. 3. When you lie down on the connected sheet, any bare skin contact will transfer the Earth’s energy to your body once you connect the sheet. Step 3: How To Wash and Care For Your Earthing Fitted Sheet Washing it by hands in cool pure water. Notes: please allow 1-3cm error of measurement. Photo color might be a little different from the actual product due to color display of different monitors

Usually a steel to sharpen your knives in safety 🦺 How To Use A Knife Sharpening Steel Why Use A Knife Sharpening Steel A sharpening steel is good for two things: One, it smooths out the rough edge on a blade after you sharpen a knife on a whetstone. And two, it helps revive that edge after you've been cutting, slicing or chopping for a while. You've probably seen people on TV whipping their knife back and forth on a knife steel at high-speed. And as you might have suspected, yes, they're just showing off. There's no reason to do it that fast, and you might cut yourself if you try. In fact, the safest way to use a knife steel does not involve having the knife edge facing you at all. Here's How to Do It With your left hand (or your right hand if you're left-handed), hold the sharpening steel point-down, with its tip resting firmly on a dry cutting board — as if it were a large nail you were about to hammer into the board. With your other hand, hold the knife crossways against the steel with the back of the blade (the part nearest the handle) touching the steel. You're going to be pulling the knife backward, toward you, so you want to start with most of the blade in front of the steel. Tilt the knife so that its cutting edge meets the shaft of the sharpening steel at a 22½-degree angle. Don't have a protractor handy? That's OK! Remember that 90 degrees is a right angle, and 45 degrees is half of that. So 22½ degrees is just half of that. You can pretty much eyeball it.

A rubber gasket is a Seal that fills the space between two mating surfaces, generally to prevent leakage from or into the joined objects while under compression. It's commonly made from elastomers such as rubber or silicone due to their flexibility and ability to create a tight seal. Rubber gaskets are used in various applications including automotive engines, plumbing systems, machinery, appliances, and more. They come in different shapes and sizes to fit specific requirements and are essential components in many industries to maintain the integrity of sealed systems. #rubberindustry #rubberproducts #rubbermoulding
