No, why not? because the owner of the shop don't have such rewarding loyal customer program and because I discover a special restaurant last year 2023 January, introduced by a stranger on the street. and I find that this is a great business model so I began to introduce to stranger, not just friend and I got my first fee RM 32.62 If I have visited the same restaurant in 2023 whole year and bring friend too. I won't have this fee paid. because I make a decision to switch, so I got a extra fee paid. is this RM 32.62 important to me? Yes, indeed, it helps, more than just the amount it helps me see the possibility to operate this business it gives me the blueprint to open similar in multiple areas in Puchong, in Subang Jaya, Shah Alam, Serdang, Balakong, Cyberjaya, Putrajaya Like myself, if you choose to change to a different restaurant, you will begin to see this extra income soon. why the current restaurant owner don't give you a fee? why? is good to think about it.

Service charge was introduced to replace tipping so that every employee within the Collective Agreement enjoys a fair share of it as tipping goes to guest-contact employees such as waiters. In the case of Kesatuan Kebangsaan Pekerja-Pekerja Hotel, Bar & Restoran Semenanjung Malaysia v. Hotel Equatorial (M) Sdn. Bhd. (2008) 3 ILR the Industrial Court expressed the rationale on the introduction of service charge: The rationale behind the introduction of service charge was a combination of a desire to replace cash tips given by hotel and restaurant patrons to employees for service rendered as well as a need to ensure that employees other than front line employees and those who come into direct contact with patrons and customer would also receive their share of tips. The object of service charge is to replace tipping in the Pereira case (supra) the Privy Council recorded: The following matters of fact are agreed. Service Charges are demanded by the employer from its customers who have to pay them since they form part of the bill. The object of the service charge is to replace tipping which only benefited those who had personal contact with the customers like waiters and waitresses.
