A Message from our Founding President, Col. Dr. Robert M. Krone. Welcome students, scholars, and space advocates to Kepler Space University (KSU). Our administration, faculty, and staff are dedicated to Space research and education for the expansion of human civilization from Earth into Space, with the primary goal of benefitting humans everywhere on Earth and beyond. KSU provides relevant educational programs and research solutions to business, industry and government in support of continuing Space Exploration, Commercialization, and Human Space Settlement. Today is one of the most exciting times in the history of the world, as we look back through the ages we see amazing accomplishments that have been made in Science, engineering, medicine, and so many different aspects of life that have brought us to this point and have set the stage for us to move forward into a Era never before imagined. We at Kepler Space University, look forward to you joining our academic and research programs in the global space community in the quest of the inevitable future Space Epoch. Science, technology and brainpower continue to give us the tools to achieve humanity’s successful journey into Space. Our vision and belief is that humankind can be continually improved, avoid extinction and survive in perpetuity by capturing the resources waiting in Space. The Law of Space Abundance – which states “Space has abundant resources to meet human needs” has been proven valid. But science and technology has also given humanity the tools for its own extermination. Our cradle Earth has evolved us to the verge of maturity. But we are not yet there; and the human factors for selecting the good paths and rejecting the bad ones remains a challenge we will address. We believe that Space holds the answer for humanity’s ultimate victory. Help us work toward that vision. #spaceeducation #spacephilosophy #KeplerU

🌌 University of Florida Launches Space Mission Institute with $2.5M Funding... Big news from the University of Florida (UF)! They are establishing the UF Space Mission Institute, funded by a substantial $2.5 million grant from President Ben Sasse's strategic initiative. This marks a significant stride in space exploration and interdisciplinary research. Key Highlights: ▪️ A Hub of Innovation: The institute will function as a collaborative hub, uniting various disciplines like engineering, pharmacy, and liberal arts to revolutionize space travel. ▪️ Extensive Research and Collaboration: UF's extensive engagement in space research, including studies on Mars, lunar soil, and habitable planets, will be elevated through this initiative. ▪️ Strategic Partnerships: The institute plans to work with the US Space Force and Space Florida, blending space science with defense objectives and offering unique opportunities to ROTC students. 🗣️ "UF's strategic funding initiative will support interdisciplinary seed projects, elevating the university’s capabilities in space research," says President Ben Sasse. What impact do you foresee this interdisciplinary approach having on the future of space exploration? Let's discuss! https://lnkd.in/ed5ijmse #SpaceMission #UniversityOfFlorida #Innovation #InterdisciplinaryResearch

🚀 Grateful for the opportunity to participate in the "Humanities in Space" event! Thanks to the organizers, for bringing together diverse perspectives on this fascinating intersection and thanks to the speakers: Laetitia C. , Annick Castiaux, PhD Christina Stange-Fayos , Prof. Dr. Vincent Simoulin , Jens Temmen Prof Dr. Stefan Marschall. Exploring #space isn't just about the technicalities; it's also about understanding our place in the cosmos, grappling with ethical dilemmas, and exploring the human experience. The humanities play a crucial role alongside technical studies, shaping our understanding and guiding our exploration. Let's continue to bridge the gap between science and humanity for a richer, more holistic approach to space exploration! Honorable mentions for: the Representation of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia to the European Union, UNIVERSEH European University, bees in space, space blogs, the lack of direct experience in space for most space researchers leading to abstract thinking and storytelling, paying the externalities now instead of leaving it to future generations, new interdisciplinary masters being prepared. #jointhespacecrew #HumanitiesInSpace #SpaceExploration #LeapIntoSpace 🌌
