Nurse coach, trainer, and keynote speaker. I help visionary healthcare organizations empower nurses and nurse leaders to become and inspire positive change in the workplace.
Last year, I had the honor of sitting in a room full of some of the greatest thought leaders in the senior living industry at the Think Tank event. I walked in excited, eager to learn and understand new perspectives, knowing that bridging the trust gap requires true collaboration and representation from every corner of our industry. But as the conversations unfolded, I realized something crucial: I was the only nurse representing the voices of direct care workers who bear so much of the responsibility in these communities. It was a moment of clarity—how could we discuss the future of senior living without the insights from those who are on the frontlines every single day? So, I spoke up. I shared with James Lee and Nicole Will, the Think Tank founders, how vital I believed it was for nurses to be present in these discussions. And I was met with incredible openness and 💯 agreement. This was always part of their vision, but in that moment, they committed to making sure that nurses from all over the country would be represented in future events. Today, I’m beyond grateful to be part of this Think Tank journey, “Where Head + Heart Leaders Gather”, knowing that nursing voices will now have a seat at the table, not just through me, but through countless others. It reinforces my belief that the voice of the #nurse is the missing piece—the one that could change everything. To all direct care workers, nurses and their teams: ❤️🔥 Your voice matters. The world is finally waking up to the critical role you play, and you deserve to be heard. ❤️🔥 Advocate for yourself, speak up, and know that there are people who want to collaborate and help you shine. I’m proud to have played a small role in lighting this path, and I encourage you to do the same. We’re all in this together. 🫶🏼 How are you using your voice to impact change in our industry? #LovingDisruption #LightTheWayHome #SeniorLiving #NurseLeadership #ThinkDifferently #Relationships #Communication #SelfActualization #Collaboration #Serve #Trust #Mindset #PersonalGrowthAndDevelopment #ProfessionalCoaching https://lnkd.in/gbpeVQXJ
James Lee on Instagram: "People in the aging services professions get a front row seat to a pretty important event - the final chapter of a person’s story. It should teach us all something, and yet only some people learn it early enough. Our titles, positions, awards, promotions and accolades don’t matter all that much in the end. We all AIM to make a difference, but how many of us take these impo

Usually it’s employees advocating for #remote #work and not the management. However, if a CEO of a company with 300+ employees actively promotes it, then it must be good for business. 🧑🎓 Our #PhD alumni Dr. Andreas Ditsche sees enormous benefits in remote work. He recently defended his #dissertation on the topic of “Remote work - the great equalizer of the 21st century: stress and employee motivation in high and low-cost countries - exemplary analysis for Germany and Bulgaria”. 🎯 His mission was to prove remote work can be sustainable in the 21st century and an equalizer, especially in terms of personal and national income. To do this, he presented different motivational theories and analyzed differences across lower and high-income countries. Additionally, he conducted a case study of a company in its pre-remote and current remote state. As part of the case study, Dr. Ditsche surveyed employees focusing on stress and motivation. What are they key takeaways? 🔸 Remote work can outperform office-based organizations in terms of stress at work and employee motivation. ❓ However, further research will determine how productivity is maintained over a long period of time. 🔸 Leadership and management models should be adapted to the remote environment. Socializing becomes a management task and trust is preferred over micromanagement. 🔸 Remote work allows low-cost countries to economically benefit from remote workers. ❓ However, equalizing is a process that will take time. His 💎 #PhDtip is: “Doing a PhD opens up academic perspectives and you should definitely consider it!” Watch the video below to find out more about Dr. Ditsche and his experience as a PhD student. 🎓
