One of the reasons I LOVE working with companies that run on #EOS is that EOS is super clear about the importance of executives practicing stillness every day. I spent about a decade of my life trying to figure out a system to provide super busy executives a training and coaching program built on what the research shows to be super-effective: stillness, breathing, movement, self-awareness, authentic connection, trust, community outside the silo, emotional clarity, executive presence, accountability, and results. Clearly, there was no model for this in the world I inhabited as an academic. I needed help. So I reached out to my dear friend and SUPER-busy executive Steph Dreyer, who dived right in with me and brainstormed a model that was so perfect and simple and pure that I still use it today. I have named this training/coaching program of mine The LeadershipOS in honor of the EOS system because it complements the principles and practices of EOS powerfully and seamlessly, as I discovered when I became the grateful recipient of Shea Peffly's amazing implementation skills as I also began to work with my first EOS client, Tristate Armature. Fast forward to now. This is a screenshot of today's training, Strengthen Your Team's Social Style. We begin each of these trainings with stillness and presence, as I learned from my teacher Russ Hudson at The Enneagram Institute. We become present in the body. Our hearts open. And then we are ready to learn with a curious and open mind. Stillness. Self-awareness. Authentic sharing. Laughter. Clarity. Problem solving. Action. Rinse and repeat. One percent improvement. I LOVE my clients and am so grateful for the privilege of working with them.
