Kering presents the third installment of the Women In Motion LAB. Launched as an extension of the Women In Motion Award for photography, as part of the partnership between Kering and Les Rencontres de la photographie, Arles, the Women In Motion LAB aims to highlight the contribution made by women to the world history of photography. 'I’m So Happy You Are Here, Japanese Women Photographers from the 1950s to Now', is the this first publication ever on the topic. Edited by Lesley A. Martin and Pauline Vermare with Carrie Cushman, Kellie Midori McCormick, and Mariko Takeuchi, the book is published by Aperture in English and Textuel in French. Likewise, the first collective exhibition in France dedicated to this history, produced by Aperture and Les Rencontres d’Arles with the support of Kering through its Women In Motion LAB is currently on display at the Palais de l’Archevêché in Arles.
