#GameDevelopment 🎮 Sharing an update on Level 02 of our 3D Android Escape Game! This level features a single task where the player must guess a word by interpreting two pictures. 🖼 The player has to guess the word and write it down. Upon completing the task, the code is displayed on the TV. Player can then escape by entering the code into the digital keypad. For our latest initiative in promoting the African game development industry, we’ve partnered with the amazing people of Africacomicade to make this happen. 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝘇𝗲𝘀: Each category will have its own prize pool: $500 for PC and $400 for mobile. 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀: The jam will kick-off on the 14th of April and end on the 28th of April. Judging of the submissions will take place as soon as the jam is over and announcements of the final winners will be done no later than May 14th 2024. Hi guys, i'd like to show you a little about my indie game i'm developing with a friend. The name of game is LandOfRobs, and it'll be available soon for android, ios, and PC. This game is built on Unity + Mirror, it's a multiplayer game and we focus in performance for poor android devices. It's running in 45-60 FPS in mid quality on poor devices, and it's running 60 FPS in IOS (high quality), and 130+ in PC (high quality). The game is a battle royale where player can choose the best Rob, the best weapon/accesories, and create his best strategy to win a match. Basically we will have solo battles and 3x3 battles. We are still building, but we have already opened a beta test to see how it will work on Android and iOS devices ... Across all our games, we have reached 2 million+ players over the web and mobile stores 🥳 While 2023 was a tough time for me as a game dev, 2024 is going strong and well. Most of our players are on the web and mobile accounts for a small % of them - because distribution is easy on the web. I have plans to port and slowly scale our games on mobile too. Here is a Squishy Cat to celebrate the achievement 😼. Due to the great feedback and demand over Reddit, Squishy Cats will also be available for wishlists on the Steam store this week and I will be setting up a Discord to share the progress as I build the cat game further. How does Reddit work? Reddit has many communities or sub-groups on any topic you can think of - Game development, Cars, Fitness, Finance, Cats, Relationships, and everything. The subreddits are joined by people of shared interests in the same niche. If your game's theme or genre can match these subreddits, sharing it can be helpful to get feedback.
