Normally we post beautiful photos of our plants being built or operating at peak efficiency. Today we are posting a picture of the pipeline and electrical markers we put on farms for the gas and electric lines running to our flares and thermal oxidizers. These are non-regulated lines on private property, so the signs are voluntary, but very necessary. Dairy farms are incredibly efficient and well run, but they are not accustom to the same level of excavation awareness that you would find at a power plant or industrial facility. These signs clearly mark where not to dig decades into the future, when the current employees of the farm and the RNG facility may not be there to remind people where lines are buried. #RNG #biogas #renewableenergy #dairyrng #novillarng

Executives from major publicly traded companies expressed confidence in the progress of their #renewablenaturalgas (RNG) projects during recent second quarter earnings calls. BP’s Archaea Energy, which brought four #RNG plants online this year, highlighted strong U.S. RNG sales, with #D3RINs performing well in a favorable pricing environment. Other industry leaders, including WM, Republic Services, and GFL, also reported on their expanding RNG projects, though some companies, like Waste Connections, noted challenges with project delays and rising costs. 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐮𝐬 𝐄𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐲 : 𝐀𝐦𝐛𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝟓-𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧 Cenovus Energy plans to ramp up energy production by 19% over next 5 years. This is in tandem with Trans Mountain pipeline expansion coming online, signaling a pivotal shift in the country's oil landscape. Drew Zieglgansberger (Chief commercial officer): "signifies a fresh avenue into global markets, highlighting the possibility of enhanced market access and improved competitiveness". Production will boost to 950,000 boe/day, involving a substantial increase of 150,000 boe/day during the specified period. This growth anticipates additions of: 30,000 bbl/day from Foster Creek, 20,000-30,000 bbl/day from Narrows Lake, 15,000-20,000 bbl/day from Sunrise, and 45,000 bbl/day from West White Rose. Oil sands production is targeted at 700,000 bbl/day by 2028; 75,000 bbl/day increase over next five years.
