Where you put your focus, your world grows.
Interesting, right?
When you focus on the lack, on the loss, on the bad things that are happening, that's where your mind will continue to take you.
How do you change this? Put your focus on the growth, change for good, and the abundance you have, even if it's small.
When we put our focus on those things, our mind will find a way to create more. A win-win!

Where you put your focus is where your mind's gonna take you. Now, rather, this is for the weight. If you're trying to lose weight, you're trying to get better after injuries or sicknesses, rather, you're trying to just advance in something, build a relationship, fix a relationship, any of those things, any of those situations, wherever you put your focus is where you're going to. Your mind's going to take you, whether you realize it or not, because you're internal blueprints or mental blueprints will just continue to guide that way. Now, how does this work? Well, if you're constantly worried about the losses, the failures, all those other things, and that's what you're focusing on, then your mind's going to continue to put you in positions and guide you to those failures and everything's gonna seem like a sucks and nothing's ever getting better. However, if you flip the script and you say, you know what, yeah, there may be some pain, but you know what? There's one little thing changed where I lost weight here, or I lost inches here. Maybe I didn't lose weight, but I lost some inches or maybe this relationship. Not a little bit better. Maybe something happened. Maybe we didn't fight as long. Focus on those little wins, those small things, no matter how small they are or how inconsequential they may seem at the time. Those are the things you gotta put your attention on. And as you put your attention on that, your mind will find ways to create that more often and then eventually lead to bigger and bigger wins. So hope that helps.
How to get through something hard and overwhelming.
Sometimes, we get on over our heads. Most people crumble in these situations.
I have some tips to get through these times, though!
1. Move your attention from what's wrong to what's going right. It doesn't matter how small that thing is, either. Just moving your attention off the negative aspects is enough in most instances.
2. Control the controllables. Put your time and attention on the things you can influence and not on the things you can't influence.
Hope this helps!

Putting in a little extra effort goes a long way!
What do you do when the clock is getting low? Do you try and wait it out to get it over faster? Or do you go faster to get a little more in?
It's these little moments where character is revealed. When nobody is looking, are you putting in the work or hoping someone else will pick up the slack?
To be clear, I don't always think more is better. Extra effort doesn't always mean more time. It could be efficiency, new methods, new ideas, etc.
So what about you? When nobody is looking, are you putting in the work to get better?
