Today, on National Immunisation Day, let's pause and ponder: How many lives have been touched by the simple act of vaccination? 🌟 Each shot is not just a dose of medicine, but a ripple in the vast ocean of public health, protecting not just one, but countless others from preventable diseases. It's a testament to human ingenuity and our shared commitment to health. Let's spread knowledge, not illness. 💉📚 For More Information: Visit Us @ https://lnkd.in/g-vDkSWg Call Our Toll-Free Number @ 1800 212 6547 #NationalImmunisationDay #VaccineVictories #ImmuniseToProtect #HealthForAll #HexamedDiagnostics #Hexamed #doctor #tests #radiology #laboratory #Polyclinic #clinic #diagnosticservices #healthissues #CTscan #MRI #scanning #diagnosis #jammu #preventivehealthcare #wellness #Kashmir #Srinagar #MedicalTesting #BestDiagnosticCentre

VAERS, V-Safe program. The dangers of self-reported adverse events by the population. Absence of validation and evaluation of these AE. Anti-vaxxers like Andrew Crockett, pseudo-journalist, have been using such data to push a narrative around dangers related to COVID, only to see that large database analysis have shown that non-vaccinated indiduals are confronted with more health / COVID issues than vaccinated individuals, as published in Science Direct. These pseudo-scientists are now turning to VAERS and V-Safe to try to support their lies. While out of the approximate 10 million individuals that registered and submitted data to v-safe, 782,913 individuals, or over 7.7% of v-safe users, had a health event requiring medical attention, emergency room intervention, and/or hospitalization, which is has been quantified as to the severity of such. We all agree that a fever is nothing other than a fever, and reporting pain at injection site is somewhat irrelevant. Over 25% had an event that required them to miss school or work and/or prevented normal activities. … Yes, it was laughable they referred as such as very alarming. The problem with the anti-vaxxers a la Andrew Crockett is deny the science and facts only to believe their lies. And when proven wrong as the Science Direct paper did, they try to find new lies.

Recognising the role of remuneration in pharmacy services is paramount, especially as vaccination becomes increasingly prominent worldwide. Adequate compensation not only acknowledges the pharmacist's expertise but also serves as a catalyst for enhanced patient care and increased accessibility. Equitable remuneration drives innovation, prompting pharmacies to implement efficient vaccination models, ultimately contributing to widespread disease prevention and fostering universal health coverage. In December 2020, in order to attend the Fortune Brainstorm Health conference, I received my COVID-19 booster. About two weeks later, still fatigued, my body ached like I had the flu. I thought my thyroid was acting up so I went in to get some blood tests. My thyroid was fine, but I had elevated inflammation markers indicative of some autoimmune reaction or condition. That began my journey into the world of rheumatology and chronic pain management, being diagnosed and then undiagnosed with a multitude of conditions including undifferentiated connective tissue disease and lupus. I still have no diagnosis. From December 2020 I experienced progressive inflammation, pain, and eventual immobilization of most of my body. I couldn't sleep, be an active and present mother to my young children, or focus and work effectively. I was laid off from my company in March 2023 and terrified of losing hope. I managed to get on disability and use the break in my career to focus on my health and healing. I changed my diet, engaged in aggressive occupational and physical therapy, and was on a bunch of different drugs. I am grateful everyday for my family, fiancée, friends, and doctor who all rallied to support me. Today I am about 70-80% recovered. I realize I am one of the lucky ones. There are tens of thousands of people who have been permanently injured by the COVID-19 vaccine. Most are pro-vaccine and remain pro-vaccine to this day. All have suffered alone, without adequate government, medical or scientific support. I searched for COVID-19 vaccine resources or online communities a million times, learning from the best out there (Susannah Fox). I continuously came up with nothing. The other day I discovered an organization called React19 and have been overwhelmed with emotion since (thank you, Fiona Lowenstein for the connection to Yale researcher, Dr. Harlan Krumholz!) Not only did it connect me with a community of others like me, but it validated my experience. These resources need to exist alongside information for the COVID-19 vaccine. Shockingly, risk is omitted. It is a disservice to us all to ignore the inconvenient truths about vaccine injury. www.REACT19.0rg https://vaers.hhs.gov/ #COVIDvaccine #COVID #LongCOVID #vaccineinjury #NIH #Vaccineresearch

Being able to live in the gray and consider and weigh competing truths and risks at the same time is what critical thinking is all about. I continue to believe that vaccines are crucial for individual and community health WHILE AT THE SAME TIME accepting that vaccine injuries happen. We need to step up: track the data, have the conversation, weigh the risks, and support those who fall into the “side effects may include…” bucket while still pushing for improved and effective vaccines. Thanks for the important and vulnerable post, Susan E. Schaffler. We need to be talking about this. #vaccineinjury #covidvaccine #vaccineresearch

The OHA believes it’s more important than ever that evidence and science drive decision-making in health care. To highlight and help address this important issue, last year, the OHA released "Misinformation in Health Care – The Critical Role of Effective Communication", a Research Brief developed to shed light on the impact of misinformation and provide a range of tools and strategies to address misinformation and support the management of health infodemics: https://lnkd.in/gTDSExyR #canhealth
Premier Danielle Smith is expecting a report next month on the integrity of Alberta’s COVID-19 data and decision-making from a little-known task force led by a physician who, at the height of the pandemic, claimed the government manipulated statistics to usher in restrictions. The United Conservative Party government gave the group a sweeping mandate to explore whether the “right data” was collected and assess the “integrity, validity, reliability and quality of the data/information used to inform pandemic decisions” by Alberta Health Services and other health organizations, according to documents obtained by The Globe and Mail. Gary Davidson, former chief of emergency medicine at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre, was installed as chair of the task force about a year ago. In September, 2021, Dr. Davidson claimed that the government had overblown the COVID-19 crisis in hospitals, an assertion AHS quickly rebuked. Scoop with Carrie Tait:
