There are several ways to protect yourself from Amazon impostor scams. Some include not clicking on any links in an email or providing your information without authenticating the email or verifying the link. Know that Amazon will never: ◾Request that you purchase a gift card for any service. ◾Ask you to download or install any software to connect with customer service. ◾Ask you to pay for something over the phone.

Last week we tried to have some fun with poor territory to rep alignment. Some were fun, some felt like a bad memory, and just made you sad. Territories are hard, and there is a REQUIRED balance between Rev Ops doing everything they can to create revenue producing, equitable territories, and a reps need to run their own research and due diligence. I loved seeing contributors like Jacob Karp and Stan James talk about making the best of what was given to them. As a seller, it's critical to differentiate between "sellable" and "sexy". Some of the best reps I've ever worked with had territories than on face value didn't look great, with no brands that were even remotely recognizable, but they consistently hit/exceeded their goals. But...sometimes territories are just created poorly, and that's what we're trying to solve for at Territories.ai, helping sales and revenue leaders to create equitable territories for everyone to improve quota attainment, productivity, and engagement. On to the important part........ we have a winner! This was a close call between: Sarah Clancey - speaking english and selling SaaS into SaaS orgs up in a Canadian region made up of mostly french speaking Oil/Gas companies. Juan Rosas Jr - Integrating technology for the Amish and our winner: Doug Newman - Selling into the "Great Lakes 2" territory, which consisted only of the actual lakes themselves. Doug, send me a DM with your email and we'll get your $250 Amazon gift card emailed over!
Let's have some fun here, I want to hear the worst accounts and/or territories you've been assigned. The winner gets a $250.00 Amazon Gift Card emailed to them. Comments will be reviewed and winner announced on 07/18/2024 at 12:00pm Mountain. Kyle Asay, you have to share your favorite suburban Michigan territory but you can't win. 😃 I was once assigned 50 accounts as part of a territory realignment. Of those 50 accounts: 🤦♂️ 15 were subsidiaries of larger organizations owned by other AEs 🤷♂️ 12 were holding companies with no assets 💀 1 was Blockbuster 🏎 The rest were solid Fortune 500 organizations

Keeping a remote team focused and motivated can be difficult. Not everyone is self-motivated and organized. You need to lead with patience and structure. Too much of one without the other has a negative impact. I also find it helpful to understand love languages. Here are the 5 things that make people feel appreciated - Quality time - Words of affirmation - Physical touch (DON'T USE THIS ONE AS A LEADER 🤣) - Acts of service - Receiving gifts Someone who is fueled by words of affirmation is not going to care about your $25 Amazon gift card (as much). Understand your team - give them what they need to feel empowered.
