Does anybody else feel like 2024 is already in 6th gear and going too fast?! 🏎 The good news is that we are almost in the Spring season! 🌼 👇 Here are 5 tips to prepare your vehicle for the change in season: 1️⃣ 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐜𝐨𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦 - make sure there are no cracks or leaks. Also, make sure to have your coolant and antifreeze at the proper level according to your owner's manual. 2️⃣ 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐜𝐤 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐭𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐬 - Spring season means rain is inevitable, so you must ensure your tires aren't balding. It is also time to change out your winter tires. 3️⃣ 𝐄𝐧𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐀/𝐂 𝐢𝐬 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐬𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 - You have most likely only been using your A/C to defog your windshield, but as the warmer days come around you will want to make sure your A/C can cool you down. It's well worth checking! 4️⃣ 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐜𝐤 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐲 - Temperature changes can drain your battery, so you will want to make sure yours isn't nearing the end of its life cycle after the cold winter period 🥶 5️⃣ 𝐖𝐚𝐬𝐡 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐯𝐞𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐥𝐞 - All of the salt and chemicals that have been used to keep the roads clear over the winter can cause rust and grime. Your paint and undercarriage will need to be cleaned thoroughly. A Johnson's Automotive detail service is a great way to go for this. Why does this driver spin off? Session begins dry. Starts to rain during the session, what should a driver do? It’s wise, especially in a practice session to adjust your speed back as you see droplets on your visor. If you corner with decent grip, and the kart has traction, you know you can maintain your normal dry speed the following corners. But if you aim to brake the same spot the first take rain hits, you can quickly lose control and end up out of the session by being in the gravel. In fairness, we want drivers to find the limit, and push themselves out of their comfort zone in practice. But as it starts to rain get a feel of the circuit then push the boundaries.

#WeekendSafetyTips 💡 Tire Health Matters‼️ You know how important your tires keep you connected to the road. Healthy tires are key to a safe and smooth drive, but do you really know when yours need attention? Here are some signs your tires might be calling for help: Worn Treads – Bald tires can lead to skidding, especially on wet roads. If the tread depth is low, it’s time to replace. Uneven Wear – If one side of your tire is more worn than the other, it could indicate an alignment or suspension issue. Air Pressure – Low pressure causes overheating and potential blowouts. Check your tire pressure regularly. Cracks or Bulges – These could be signs of structural damage. Don’t risk a blowout on the highway. Your tires take the impact, but they need regular checks to keep you safe. This weekend, show them some care—your ride will thank you. Drive safe, stay grounded, and remember, Tidax got your back. #SafetyFirst #TireCare #DriveSafe #CarMaintenance #WeekendVibes #StaySafeOnTheRoad #RoadReady #TireSafety #TidaxTips
