I believe that Empvision is an example of a Vision-driven rather than Product-driven company. This is something I constantly discuss with entrepreneurs who come to me with product pitches. The product is very important, but for an investor, it matters more to know the capacity of your company to stay in the market and adapt to changes. Products have a life-cicle that in the tech field can be very short. But a company aware of its value proposition, its competitive advantage, and with a clear mission and vision, can adapt much more easily to market changes. When we created Empvision, we knew we wanted to bring innovation to Portuguese companies, so that very traditional businesses and outdated managers could keep up with trends, update themselves in a particularly challenging and transformative period that was post-pandemic. Because we knew what we wanted to be, we knew that the products or services we developed would be a way to get there. This allowed us to reach many different clients at various stages of maturity, it made us realize that Portugal was not enough and we wanted to open doors to the world, that we now wanted to work with technology, that we would support startups. This is what allowed us to be a recognized incubator, to establish a partnership with Kube to be our home, to create new brands. And all this always serves the same purpose: EMPOWER ORGANIZATIONS FOR GLOBAL IMPACT. ps: This picture was taken this year in the Magna Hall of the Catholic University of Angola at the invitation of my friend Henriques Ngolome, Director of the Social Innovation and Incubation Center at UCP.

Inspiring Innovation: Reflections on Startup Forum 2024 July 2nd, Renaissanc.IO was energized by our recent participation in the International Startup Forum 2024, a pivotal event for Vietnam's innovation landscape. As one of the key speakers, we shared insights on "Technology Commercialization: From R&D to Market and the Role of Main Stakeholders: Universities, Enterprises, Government," aiming to bridge the gap between research and commercial success. The forum, convened by VNEI, Next Challenge Fund, BK Holdings, and VinUniversity, exemplified the growing synergy between Vietnamese and Korean startup ecosystems. The event underscored the potential for the rapidly expanding digital startups in Korea and Vietnam to establish a framework for exchanging advanced technologies, fostering a mutually beneficial ecosystem. VNEI's network of 65 innovation centers is laying a solid foundation for Vietnam's startup ecosystem, while the Next Challenge Fund is facilitating access to Korean markets for Vietnamese startups and vice versa. The universities from both countries play crucial roles in fostering innovation. Their academic-industry partnerships demonstrate the importance of collaboration in driving innovation. The forum was a vibrant energy hub with ideas flowing and connections forming. We left inspired by Vietnam's entrepreneurial spirit and the power of international cooperation. This energy and inspiration fuels our commitment to driving innovation and fostering cross-border collaborations. The future of tech innovation in Vietnam is bright, and we're honored to be part of this exciting journey. The potential for future collaboration between Vietnam and Korea is immense, and we're filled with hope and optimism. We look forward to turning these ideas into impactful collaborations and to the promising future of the Vietnam-Korea startup partnership! #StartupForum2024 #TechCommercialization #VNEI #nextchallenge #bkholdings #HUST #RenaissancIO
