Exciting news to share - our latest study found that combining transmyocardial laser revascularization (TMR) and platelet-rich plasma (PRP) with coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) significantly improves heart function at 1 year compared to CABG alone in patients with diffuse coronary artery disease. The TMR+PRP patients showed enhanced global longitudinal strain (GLS), suggesting this synergistic therapy augments the healing and remodeling prompted by revascularization. While more research is needed to validate the long-term benefits, we believe this represents a promising multi-pronged approach to optimizing outcomes in challenging cases.
