#My3MTT #3MTTLearningJournal @3MTTNigeria wow, this was really a wonderful exposure, an intellectual exposure. From what started as a mirage and something that is impossible to achieve to a fulfilled adventure. Indeed it was really a wonderful adventure. Firstly, I want to use this medium to say a big thank you to 3MTT Nigeria for this great opportunity. It's really a rare privilege. Secondly, although this kind of movement is without huddles, yes, it was at a point frustrating and disappointing, although there was no reason to quit, but its really worth the sacrifices. Moreso, I have really gained meaningful experience through these courses and my bag of skills or my skillset is already flourishing as endlessly await the cement my skills through physical and applied learning. To this end, I await the allocation of learning centers.

𝐀 𝐛𝐢𝐠 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐦𝐞! I'm beyond excited to share that I got accepted into the physical training of the Future Clan boot camp by Rccg continent 3 jn collaboration with the incubator Nigeria! I still remember the countless times I'd tell my brother and sister, "I must be selected for the physical class!" because I knew how I put in much effort to not miss the virtual class, paying rapt attention, and making sure I complete the class assessments. Every day, I'd affirm, I'm going to make it in! I'm going to be selected!" And now, here I am! (There's power in affirmation, and I didn't just affirm - I also made sure I met the requirements that would qualify me for the physical class. I didn't miss a class, joined early , I joined late once Sha😅, completed the class assessments, carried out every instruction.) And here's the cool part: it's a ONE WEEK intensive learning experience! Over the next week, I'll be sharing daily updates on my learning journey. As a self-taught individual, this opportunity means everything to me. Being part of this program is a dream come true. 6th April 2024 was a mind blowing and eyes opening session with Madam Agnes Igoye, Young Professional Mentorship Program (YPMP) Chief Mentor and Founder. It was a privilege to listen and learn from her in one of the session by #YPMP on “Professionalism”. Ms. Agnes Igoye, the Regional Immigration Expert to the eight (8) member states, with a wide knowledge, skills and experience across various fields specifically at the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD). With her opening quote “If you always do what interests you, at least one person is pleased” (Katherine Helpbum). She stressed a professionalism as the conduct, aims, or quality that characterize/ make a profession or professional person. She expressed the importance of professionalism, how to develop and practice professional; a)     Need to be productive and value the importance of using your time rightly while at work. Maintain a good time management practice and handle tasks on time. b)     Practice positive attitude, humility and always maintain effective work habits which portrays a professional image.   c)     Make friendship and be mindful of who your friends are. Create friendship with people you can learn from. Get to know what friends are for, Are they supportive? Do they add value to your life? Life is about friendship to keep you in line. Ms. Igoye encourages one to always learn from professionals who knows more than you do as well as choosing the right network of professionals. Also, she emphasized on the importance of conducting a research when meeting a person/ professional you look up to.Charles Oyet Omoya, M.Ed.
