Marketing Intern @ Unique Team Building | Master of Commerce (in progress)

After starting this year reading "Why Has Nobody Told Me This Before?" by Dr Julie Smith, these are a few key learnings I gained which I link to my interest area of marketing - 1. Emotional Intelligence in Marketing: Learnings from the book reveal that emotions are constructed, not inherited. In marketing, understanding consumer emotions and behaviors is key to creating impactful strategies thus enhancing emotional intelligence to tailor campaigns that resonate with your audience's needs and preferences. 2. Adaptability and Decision-Making: Dr. Julie's insights on turning bad moods into better ones through "good enough" decisions align with agile marketing practices. In a dynamic business landscape, adaptability is crucial. Marketers can make incremental progress, embrace flexibility, and adapt strategies based on evolving trends for sustained success. 3. Community-Centric Branding: Combining insights from managing anxiety and seeking help, businesses can build a community-centric brand. Acknowledge barriers customers face, provide accessible support, and foster a supportive community. In marketing, reciprocity matters – actively engage with customer feedback, offering assistance and creating a brand community that thrives on mutual support. #marketing #bookinsights #learnings
