Here's how you can build a professional reputation in the field through system administration internships. Building a professional reputation in system administration internships involves several key strategies. Firstly, approach each internship with a proactive and positive attitude, demonstrating eagerness to learn and contribute. Take initiative to solve problems independently and seek opportunities to take on additional responsibilities. Secondly, prioritize building strong relationships with colleagues and supervisors. Communicate effectively, ask questions, and actively listen to feedback. Show reliability, integrity, and professionalism in all interactions. Thirdly, focus on developing technical skills relevant to system administration, such as server management, network configuration, and troubleshooting. Take advantage of hands-on experience to hone these skills and learn from experienced professionals. Fourthly, demonstrate adaptability and flexibility by being willing to tackle new challenges and projects outside of your comfort zone. Showcase your ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing environments. Lastly, showcase your achievements and contributions through regular updates to your resume, LinkedIn profile, and professional portfolio. Seek opportunities to network with professionals in the field, attend industry events, and participate in online forums or communities. By following these strategies, you can build a strong professional reputation and establish yourself as a competent system administrator in the field.

Culture Designer | Human Skills Facilitator | Founder - That Culture Thing | Helping build irresistible organizational cultures where people start their days feeling excited and end their days feeling accomplished
Can someone help me understand this? In #Budget2024, Nirmala Sitharaman announced an #internship scheme for one crore youth in the top 500 companies. Having worked with many Fortune 500 companies for over 12 years and starting my career as an #intern, I know internships at these companies are not a new concept. Companies frequently hire interns for various durations, including summer, winter, annual, long-term, and short-term programs. With this new scheme, interns will receive a stipend of INR 5000, with the government covering 90% and the companies only paying 10%. So, what’s the real additional benefit for the youth or young citizens here? From my perspective, it seems like the companies benefit more, as they only need to cover 10% of the intern's stipend from their CSR budget, while the rest is paid by the government. Can someone explain how this benefits the youth and whom it truly benefits? Maybe I missed something?

#InternationalMinnesota and #IntlMav present Interns! Intern: Sakib from #Bangladesh Position: Software Engineer; Hewlett Packard Enterprise - #InformationTechnology Q: What is one important skill you learned during your internship that you wouldn't have been able to learn in a classroom? A: Experiencing various forms of technical communication in a corporate setting and developing software in an agile work environment. Q: Did the internship prepare you for a career in your field? A: Yes it did. It gave me all the exposure of working professionally and making meaningful contributions through the work I get to do. What would it be if you could choose your dream job?Q: b Why? A: Possibly working in a executive or a managerial role in a tech company. While I enjoy working in technical side, I do enjoy working with people and managing a team to provide results. Q: What is the best tip you can offer other international students trying to secure an internship? A: To keep applying for positions relentlessly. Try to aim to apply for 10 positions a day if you are actively looking - be prepared to face rejections; however, there will be a few where you will get callbacks and possibly an offer. It is a numbers game at the end of the day. Another quick tip: If you are applying for your first internship, try to look for local internships. Try search filters in your job search to look for available positions in Minnesota.

Bismillahirahmanirrahim, here's to my first post on LinkedIn. "Know know internship habis," something my friends and I would always say in our conversations. And today marks my last day in the ICT Department of Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology at Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia, I am intensely grateful for the opportunity presented to me. Though the start up for my internship journey was full of tears, I am proud to say it ends with joy. A few semesters back I would always doubt my capability to finish up this degree, but here I am, all 7 semesters done and dusted. It wasn't an easy 3 years and a half. With that, I would like to thank everyone who has helped to make this happen, I would not be able to do it alone. Last but not least, I hope it is okay to say, thank you Nadhirah, for not giving up. I believe there is a lot ahead for me, I hope I remain the person I am today, however, where changes needed, let it be for growth and for the better; whatever that God wills.
