Navigating the Future: Shaping Our Role in the 5th Industrial Revolution 🚀🤖🌍 🧑🤝🧑⚖️ The #5thIndustrialRevolution is about putting #peoplefirst, while the 4th focused on automation, AI, and digital tech. Now, it’s about finding a balance where technology helps people achieve their #fullpotential and supports everyone in building a #betterfuture together. By emphasizing #collaboration, ethical considerations, and human potential, humans and machines are working together to tackle society’s big challenges for #ethical, #sustainable, and #transformative progress. #SriLanka is still catching up from the 4th Industrial Revolution with more digital tech and automation. While there are movements toward embracing the ideas of the 5th Industrial Revolution, the country still needs to build #betterinfrastructure and make some #socialchanges. Right now, the focus is on improving #digitalskills and #education to prepare for #futureadvancements. My motivation to participate in #AsiaWorldMUNX stems from a deep desire to contribute to my country’s #progress through #digitaltransformation and #globalrecognition by fully leveraging my education, experience, and potential. This revolution isn’t just about technology, it’s about purpose. Having overcome personal challenges, I’ve learned the value of serving a greater cause beyond personal development, which is what has brought me here. The world advanced faster due to early industrialization and significant investments, while Sri-Lanka faced challenges and setbacks that hindered its progress. However, its #unique blend of #richculture, stunning #naturalbeauty, and #strategicgloballocation makes Sri-Lanka stand out from the rest of the world. By applying the principles of the #4thand5thIndustrialRevolutions and leveraging its natural assets through #digitaltechnology, Sri-Lanka can #empower its people and align with global advancements and keep pace with other nations. For example, we can promote its rich heritage online, enhancing tourism with innovative technologies such as #AugmentedReality. This leads me to my project with Alliance Francaise de Kandy and the French Embassy in Sri-Lanka, where we are promoting AR in collaboration with #Frenchartisans. We are hosting free public exhibitions to showcase this innovative technology and #inspire Sri-Lankans to explore its potential, encourage #creativity and #initiative. We are also attracting various tourists to these exhibitions to spark their interest in exploring Sri-Lanka through the lens of the latest technology. #France is a significant player in global tech innovation and my next venture is to facilitate the participation of #Frenchtechcompanies in hosting events in Sri-Lanka through Alliance Française. This initiative aims to inspire #collaboration that fosters mutual growth and profitability for both parties.

Milestone Achieved: India Hosts Its First International Ubuntu Conference I'm thrilled to announce that JECRC (Jaipur Engineering College and Research Centre) has successfully hosted UbuCon Asia 2024, marking India's inaugural Ubuntu Conference. This landmark event, held on August 31st and September 1st, represents a significant milestone in India's technological landscape. Event Highlights: 1. First-ever UbuCon Asia in India 2. Two-day conference featuring global tech experts 3. Collaboration between JECRC and the UbuCon organizing team Behind the Scenes: What appeared to be a two-day event was the culmination of a year-long effort.
