Eight-year-old Jason has been on our waiting list since March, suffering from sleeplessness, headaches, and school refusal. After a work restructure, his mum is struggling to find a new school-friendly job which, combined with a 30% rent increase and other rising living costs, is causing family strain. The family is forced to consider moving, which Jason dreads due to fear of losing his school and friends. He repeatedly asks his dad, "Are we poor?" Their GP suggested Jason's symptoms were anxiety-related and recommended Expressive Therapy with us. With 45 other children on our wait list, Jason's case highlights the urgent need for assistance to prevent these issues from becoming lifelong problems. Consider making an EOFY tax-deductible donation to help us get more children like Jason into therapy sooner. Donate today: bit.ly/KidsXpress_EOFY2024

🌟 Together, We Can Make a Difference! 🌟 Today, we are thrilled to launch our fundraising campaign for Willow Rebloom, the first Mother-Baby Unit in the U.S.dedicated to helping mothers experiencing perinatal mental health challenges. 💕 Why It Matters: 1 in 5 mothers faces Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders (PMADs), and yet so many go without the care they need. Your Impact: ✨ Every dollar brings us closer to transforming maternal mental health care in Arizona and across the nation. 💡 Here’s How You Can Help: ✔️ Donate: Visit our campaign page https://lnkd.in/gWVcPxv8 and give what you can. ✔️ Share: Spread the word—tag your friends and share this post! ✔️ Get Involved: Partner with us to change lives. Together, we can rewrite the story for mothers and babies. Suicide Prevention Walk- in Honor of my Shaun Dear friends and family, This year, I will be participating in the Out of the Darkness Suicide Prevention Walk, to honor the memory of my son, Shaun. I’ll be wearing white beads, symbolizing the loss of a child, a pain I live with every day. Shaun was brilliant, kind, and filled with potential, but like so many, he struggled with deep, unseen battles. Before he passed, he opened up to me about how I could have been a different parent—about the things I might have done to help ease his depression and prevent the darkness that overshadowed him from such a young age. His words left a profound impact on me, and I carry them with me as I walk. I’m walking not only to honor Shaun, but to share our story in hopes that it will help other parents and children who may be in a similar place. My goal is to raise awareness about childhood depression, to reflect on how we, as parents, can better support our children, and to ensure that no family has to endure the kind of loss we have. I humbly ask for your support—whether you can join me in the walk, sponsor my participation, or simply share our message. Your donation will help me continue sharing Shaun’s story, raising awareness, and contributing to the fight against suicide. My goal is to raise $50,000 If you would like to support, please visit my page here: Here is the link to use and share for donations. You can also register as a walker off this page. just click on Join Our Team. https://lnkd.in/g-vqrqpd Together, we can make a difference in memory of Shaun and so many others. Love you all!!! #OutOfTheDarkness #AFSP #StopSuicide #SuicidePrevention #MentalHealthAwareness #BeTheVoice #EndSuicide #HopeForTomorrow #ShareYourStory

Last Friday, Jo took on her biggest challenge yet—a Sponsored Silence. As a Recovery Cymru member turned peer team member, Jo works weekends to keep our Recovery Centre open 365 days a year. She’s dedicated to creating safe spaces where people feel heard, understood, and free from stigma. But staying silent? That was a whole new challenge for her. Jo said: "It taught me there's so much more to supporting people than what I can say to them. It comes down to body language and emotion as much as words. It also taught me how much only listening can mean to someone – to really hear them. I'm going to be a lot more conscious of what I say in the future and when!" Jo’s silence is a powerful reminder of how much stigma can be broken through listening, connection, and understanding. Your donation makes it possible for Jo and our peer team to continue creating these safe, stigma-free spaces for recovery. Through the BigGive, every £1 you donate is doubled. Your £10 becomes £20, your £40 becomes £80. Together, we can fight stigma and support recovery—but time is running out. Donate before midday tomorrow: https://lnkd.in/ew9adGTX #RecoveryCymru #BigGiveChallenge #SwipeOutStigma #SupportingRecovery

Rape is not just a personal tragedy—it carries a devastating economic toll. The CDC estimates that the lifetime economic burden of rape per victim in the U.S. is $122,461, including medical costs, lost productivity, and mental health care expenses. For many survivors, this burden adds to the trauma they already endure. At Silverleaf, we believe no one should face these challenges alone—or worry about the cost of getting help. That’s why all our services are provided completely free of charge to survivors and their families. From therapy sessions to advocacy, we’re here to support survivors every step of the way. But we can’t do this without your help. Your donation makes it possible for us to continue providing life-changing services to those who need them most. 💙 Together, we can lighten the load for survivors and help them heal. 📲 Donate today at silverleafky.org/donate #SupportSurvivors #HealingTogether #DonateForChange
