#piecebypiece in Theatre's TODAY!! I was lucky enough to be invited to an early screening by YELLOW. The movie is AMAZING. It's a new take on presenting a documentary, BUT most importantly it gives a POV into the mind and SPIRIT of Pharrell. Obviously we (Hampton Roads people) appreciate him for always remembering where he came from....but this movie just makes him seem more HUMAN, than celebrity. I'm probably not explaining it, how I FEEL it..... JUST GO WATCH IT FOR YOURSELF. I'm going back, because TICKET SALES are how we really show support!

Join Literature and Libations at the 9th Annual Neon Festival on Oct. 18th, 2024 (the second day only)!! The 9th Annual NEON Festival will take place on Thursday, October 17 and Friday, October 18, 2024 from 6-10pm in Norfolk’s first official arts district, the NEON District. The NEON Festival is a free two evening event that encourages visitors to explore and discover the NEON District. The festival celebrates the energy in NEON and draws from the passion and creativity in Downtown and the region. @neonnfk

#HamptonRoads, VA - If we all keep taking our #businesses elsewhere, how will the generation after us ever have anything to #aspire to? I am determined to create, scale, and sustain a Hampton Roads based business that spotlights the otherwise overlooked and underestimated, while also serving as a #CulturalTranslator to bring TOGETHER all people! We have something special, but politics and competition often keep us divided. I'm what people call a #Boomerang. I left Hampton Roads, moved to Dallas Texas for 10years, and then came back, INTENTIONALLY! I love this area, we have the BEST OF ALL WORLDS, and yet there is still something missing......I have the foresight, experience and solution. It's something only I CAN do, because GOD said so! Who wants to help?

Monday #Mindfulness: I have worked in retail since I was 16yrs old! Obviously starting at the store/ground level and working my way up to being a #Buyer/ #Category Manager for some of America's Biggest value retailers managing BILLION DOLLAR (big "B") departments. That's just shy of TWO DECADES of experience being an #INTRAPreneur (Don't let the smoove face fool ya)! And yet, #ENTREprenureship is still the HARDEST position I've ever held! And I've heard closed mouths don't get fed, soo..... #HamptonRoads #philanthropist, #investors, #decision-makers, and just DOPE individuals here is what I need and/or could use some help with: 1. I need a #commerical building to create a DOPE, professionals & creatives gathering space with #bookstore. 2. I need event #sponosorship/#partnership (Literature and Libations is going on Tour) We are taking over exisiting spaces, bringing spotlight and business to other small businesses in Hampton Roads and bring value to customers and clients by providing culturally rich events and workshops! 3. I need #interns/#volunteers to help with #marketing, #content creation, and #social media posting I know someone out there is listening, and I've made connections in other regions and states that want me to bring the idea there, HOWEVER, if we all keep taking our #businesses else where, how will the generation after us ever have anything to #aspire to? What I am trying to do, currently DOES NOT EXIST in Hampton Roads, VA. Let's schedule a meeting if you'd like to hear more. 😊

You know what.....I don't think LinkedIn gets enough credit!! So, I took an unintentional break from LinkedIn, only because I was dealing with a little strategy and growth planning brain fog. And to my detriment, I ventured over into mindless social media land.... What it made me realize and value about LinkedIn is that: 1. I enjoy/prefer being "social" with professionals and career or purpose driven people. 2. I'm inspired by my connections on LinkedIn because I see them doing the WORK....not selling a dream on how the work should be done via an "e-book". 3. This is were stumble upon events, programs, and organizations that will potentially have long-term impact on my personal and professional life, not just getting "lit". All Social Media platforms serve a purpose, but I think LinkedIn is something special 🫶🏾
