The conundrum about when to hold the next Content Creation Game which has been niggling my noggin is concluded! I’m going to run it twice. We normally run it once per quarter, playing games to generate content ideas for the following three months, but there was such a split in the votes that we’re going to run the same workshop twice. So if you’d like to come along to our interactive workshop style session where we’ll play games and set tasks to help you come up with unique, bespoke content ideas for your business for September, October and November you can attend either: 20th August (12pm BST) OR 4th September (6pm BST) They’ll be the same price, the same content, the same length (90 minutes). Something new this time: We’ve added the option to pay in two installments, if you pay before 19th June (for the 20th August Workshop) and 3rd July (for the 4th September Workshop). Building The Story They don't just add elements to fill the space; they actually build the story that tells the viewers what they are going to watch in the video without clicking on it. 2. Ratio Is The Key They use their body asa ratio to other things in the best possible way, which ultimately gives them a unique and attractive look and and makes them stand out in a crowd. 3. The Point Text You'll notice that they always use point texts in thumbnails; that's because it gives a feeling of authenticity and realness. Want to boost your content creation game? Once you find a winning creative, the game isn't over. You need to iterate, here's how: - Test the hooks - Test new landing pages - Test with different thumbnails - Add a review or more social proof - Shorter vs. longer version of video - Use a video/image for collection ads - Testing the headlines or text layer over - Convert the image into a GIF or short video - Test the new “primary text” and “headlines” - Try new formats like green screen, transitions - Test the same creative with a different person If you stop once you find a winner, you will go backward again because sooner or later it will die off. The trend in marketing and publishing physical and online media content for both film/tv and video games is to release a beta copy early with no additional features. For example: only featuring the main movie + subtitles + language version. Then 1-2 years later…they will republish the original movie, now with added exclusive content: Actor interviews, Director commentary, behind-the-scenes documentary, outtakes/bloopers, alternate deleted scenes, and more! In terms of video games: they follow the same exact trend, main story and gameplay publish early with additional content to be finalized later to be released as downloadable content. Therefore, I request whenever businesses are rereleasing a game to include all the other Downloadable Content (DLC) as separate completed product, please lower the pricing, because it is illogical and unfair for consumers to repay full or increased price of the original game. Numbers isn’t everything! Numbers and data do not tell the entire story or is evidence of what the “average” or “majority” of people want or think!
