Where do we see 2024 workplace trends going this year? Based on our work with clients and research with current YoPros last year, we have a few ideas. 1. More 4-day workweek discussion and implementation. 2. Heavy emphasis on AI training and leadership opportunities for top young professional talent to upskill 3. Tackling workforce burnout. Young professionals look for employers who embrace mental health awareness, so we will see more of this. 4. More intentional Intergenerational Communication practice. Companies need to try something to get their teams working and communicating better together! Who’s to say it shouldn’t be with the help of the YPK team? 5. With geopolitical tensions on the rise (not to mention the upcoming election later this year), we will see more companies brace themselves for significant change and strong opinions in the workforce. I dream about an employee search platform called Work4You where organizations and companies must pitch themselves as the ideal workplace to various individual job seekers. They have to develop a pitch, share evidence of good workplace practices, and offer competing salaries in order to get a jobseekers' attention. Essentially a dating app but where job seekers swipe left or right based on anonymous feedback left by current and ex-employees of management practices, professional development, and work-life balance. There are ratings for current employee mental and physical health. Without us there is no employer or organization. Why should talented, experienced, and wonderfully complex beings go groveling for jobs that treat them like disposable objects? #JobSeekersUnite #InThisEconomy #JobseekersUnionize
