At the core of “competitive overmatch” is data and technology – the ability to make better decisions, faster, at any level, anywhere. We should talk. Technological superiority within the United States Department of Defense (DoD) and on the battlefield requires more than identifying best-of-breed solutions. It also requires agility and adaptability to enable rapid change. Our Digital Experience Platform (DXP) approach separates the front-end user experience from back-end system complexity. It enables you to create built-for-purpose applications that are easy to use while eliminating vendor lock-in and future-proofing your technology environment. If this sounds interesting, contact us at KineticData.com to arrange a connection at the Modern Day Marine event, April 30 – May 2 in Washington, DC. We’re battle-tested. We’ve been implementing solutions over the past decade for the US Navy and United States Marine Corps, the Defense Information Systems Agency, The Defense Innovation Unit (DIU), the Missile Defense Agency, and more. Let’s talk about how we can help with your mission. #marines #datamesh #CDAO #software #devsecops #MDM24 #ModernDayMarine Cc Alex Gierber, Phillip "Phil" Frietze, Stephen Lightfoot, Marine Corps League, Marine Corps Association, Andrew Konicki, Bryan Eovito, CISM, CDPSE, Bryan Hatfield, Craig Clarkson, Dane Salm, Colonel Devin "Lick" Licklider, PMP, Howard Hall, Karl Arbogast, Kirk Spangenberg

Delivering information to the decision-makers who need it -- from the DoD to the battlefield -- reliably, securely, and at the speed of relevance is crucial. Let's talk at TEM. At the upcoming US Army Technical Exchange Meeting (TEM) 12, “The network is the Army’s number one transformation priority.” That means getting information where and when it’s needed, in a simple and intuitive way for users. Kinetic Data’s Digital Experience Platform (DXP) separates the front-end user interface from complex back-end IT infrastructure, integrating with virtually any system or data source in place today—as well as what will be in place tomorrow. It enables process owners to rapidly develop built-for-purpose user-facing applications using a backend-as-a-service (#BaaS) approach while future-proofing the Army’s network of the future. This isn’t our first mission. Over the past decade, we’ve implemented solutions for the US Army JLTV, US Army EITaaS, US Army CHS, Army National Guard, the Defense Information Systems Agency, the Defense Innovation Unit (DIU), and more. Monolithic architectures work well in some cases. But agility, flexibility, and speed are essential to compete. How do we embrace the best of both worlds? Let’s talk next week at the US Army Technical Exchange Meeting 12.

Military groups from across the nation continue to leverage NSIN Bootcamp to learn innovative methods for problem-solving and to put those methods into action to deliver organizational change. Hanscom Air Force Base (Mass.) recently leveraged Bootcamp to decide how they might use technology forecasting to make more informed decisions. Four teams comprised of individuals from across the organization pitched solutions including adopting automation to increase capacity, developing a virtual assistant to act as a force multiplier, leveraging homomorphic encryption for secure calculations, and implementing a “checkmate” acquisition method to ensure emerging technologies and active threats are proactively considered. John Sherman, the Chief Information Officer (CIO) of the Department of Defense (DOD), announced an upcoming digital modernization strategy named "Fulcrum," set to be released in June. This strategy aims to transition the DOD to a software-defined enterprise, building on the department's 2019 defense modernization strategy. Sherman highlighted the collaborative efforts involving multidisciplinary teams from various military and defense agencies to develop this guide. The strategy will address multiple dimensions of digital transformation, including expanding joint force capabilities, modernizing IT networks, and enhancing the digital workforce. At the core of these initiatives is the Customer Experience Office, which plays a critical role in addressing operational challenges and improving service delivery. Sherman's extensive experience in the intelligence community and previous roles in the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency deeply influence his leadership approach, emphasizing a more rugged, flexible, and secure DOD. #defensemodernization #softwaredefinedenterprise #fulcrumstrategy #digitaltransformation #itmodernization #dodinnovation #jointforce #informationtechnology #customerexperience #digitalworkforce Source- https://lnkd.in/gt-i6uJf

The Defense Department has been rethinking its pursuit of Combined Joint All-Domain Command and Control, or CJADC2, to take a more targeted approach. It’s a shift from trying to connect everything to focusing on the most urgent operational problems, with a primary aim to connect forces across domains. At Fuse, we’re acutely aware that today’s warfighters are operating across domains and across platforms – and the real-time ability to communicate with each other is absolutely critical to mission success. It’s why we run warfighter workshops to capture user needs and preferences. It’s why we’re driven to create network capability that improves connections and the common operating picture across joint forces. And it’s why we’re side-by-side with the warfighters to design, develop, and test our systems in live demonstrations and into production. 💪 Whether the DOD starts at the top and works down or adopts a bottom-up approach through each military service’s own version of CJADC2, we’re proud to be working alongside the warfighters to advance reliable, real-time, tactical edge networking. For more on the DOD shift, read the insightful C4ISRNET article from reporter Courtney Albon. https://lnkd.in/dRayQWyG #DefenseTech #TacticalEdgeNetworking #JADC2 #CJADC2
