“We looked at all the B2B and SaaS systems, finally selecting a long-established industry front runner. But just one problem…” 💬 “We quickly discovered that the platform was far too complex and not user-friendly.” — Randy Hoogeweegen, Ampère co-founder. Ampère is an Amsterdam-based men’s fashion label founded in 2021 by Randy and Aleks Kuijpers, from their passion to innovate in the men’s fashion industry. They wanted to expand into global markets, pushing their premium products and high end aesthetic beyond the Netherlands. But to do that…. They needed a cloud based inventory and sales management platform. 💬 “We were looking for a tool that made things easier for our customers,” says Hoogeweegen. “Not a system that put up barriers and complicated the process.” The switch to Kingpin delivered immediate results: Within 3 months, they saved €3,000+ in software costs. 💬 “Although Kingpin has made things easier for our team, what’s more important is that our buyers intuitively understand Kingpin. It is really easy to use, which is crucial to improving sales.” Simplify your sales operations like Ampère did. Make the switch to Kingpin and get: ✨ Intuitive ordering system ✨ Seamless catalogue management ✨ Responsive customer support We’re proud to be able to play a small role in Ampere’s growth. Can’t wait to see them scale. 🫡

Typically, the changes they make are driven by vendors aiming to adapt to market trends, boost competitiveness, or increase profitability. In many cases, this means resellers are relying on someone else to figure out their strategy and business roadmap. Few take the initiative to look beyond vendor guidance, which results in a lack of differentiation. Most resellers focus on core services like software sales—whether perpetual licenses, maintenance, or subscriptions—and basic offerings such as deployment, help desk support, and training. Pain of the Day Dear B2B SaaS companies! Stop hiding your pricing behind "Get Quote" buttons. It's 2025. Let's be honest - in 95% of cases, your product isn't so uniquely complex that it requires custom pricing or sales pitching. There's ONE valid excuse: you're building some enterprise-grade solutions like omnichannel RFID supply chain management system. Or smth like that. But most of you aren't! You're just making life harder for everyone. I just spent my entire morning in "discovery calls" trying to compare 3 similar tools. Same dance every time 🤦♂️ - Explaining the same requirements and watching same features pitched differently - 3 times - Dodging upsells I didn't ask for but having sales reps to "get back to me" on everything - 3 times - Confused about differentiation and not understanding clear pricing - 3 times Instead I just want: - Clear and transparent pricing on your website - Quick registration and ability to start small and self-serve - Actually try your product before committing for an annual contract - Scale up when there's a real value Meanwhile, companies like Gusto and Intercom just... show their pricing? Let you try the product? Some even have pricing calculators posted. (Looking at you, HR software companies). Mind-blowing concept, I know. The best products sell themselves. Stop investing in sales barriers. Invest in customer experience instead.

Is your B2B SaaS product having trouble growing, even with a strong sales team? It might be time to shift to a Product-Led Growth (PLG) strategy. In today’s competitive time, relying only on traditional sales can limit your growth. PLG empowers your product to drive acquisition, expansion, and retention, letting it sell itself. Product-led growth is more than just a buzzword; it's a transformative approach that puts your product at the centre of your growth strategy. By focusing on user experience and value delivery, PLG allows your product to become the primary customer acquisition and retention driver. Number 1: Start by offering a frictionless onboarding experience. → This is your first opportunity to demonstrate value and hook users. Number 2: Next, consider adopting a freemium model or a trial period to lower the barrier to entry, allowing users to experience the product’s benefits first-hand. Number 3: Data is your best friend in a PLG strategy. → Track user behaviour closely to identify friction points and optimize the user journey. → Implement in-app prompts, personalized recommendations, and self-service resources to guide users toward deeper engagement. Number 4: PLG also requires a cultural shift within your organization. → Sales, marketing, and product teams must collaborate closely, with a shared focus on delivering value through the product. → This alignment is key to driving sustainable growth. In the B2B SaaS space, PLG isn’t just a strategy; it’s a mindset. When your product becomes the growth engine, you can achieve scalable, sustainable success. Is your SaaS product truly driving growth? Let’s discuss how to implement a Product-Led Growth strategy that aligns with your business goals. Share your thoughts or experiences in the comments below! The #SubscriptionSconomy has fundamentally reshaped the business landscape. Customer relationships are no longer transactional; they are ongoing journeys built on trust, value delivery, and continuous engagement. This shift demands a dramatic overhaul of traditional sales operations, a transformation that Laddar, with its innovative #SdaaS model, is uniquely positioned to lead. The #Subscription Imperative: From #Acquisition to #Retention In the bygone era of product sales, success hinged on acquiring new customers. Today, the focus has shifted to customer retention and lifetime value. Subscription models require ongoing #customerSatisfaction, driving the need for #salesOperations that prioritise post-sale engagement, upselling opportunities, and building strong customer relationships. The Funnel Flaw: Why Traditional Sales Operations Fall Short Traditional sales operations rely on a linear funnel model, focusing solely on lead generation and conversion. This approach falls short in the subscription economy. Metrics like customer acquisition cost (#CAC) are no longer the sole measure of success. Customer lifetime value (#CLTV) now takes centre stage, demanding a focus on post-sale engagement and ongoing #revenue generation. https://lnkd.in/d9xXmp3S

"Anyone with [this problem] is going to love this product." Maybe. But... Will they make the budget available to buy it? Are they allowed to authorize the sale? Do they have the capacity and people they need to implement it? Do they have influence with the users of the product to drive adoption? Great product development—especially B2B and B2B2C—is not just about creating valuable features. It's about creating the smoothest, fastest, easiest-to-navigate path from seeing the value (sale) to activation to adoption and utilization (implementation) to retention and expansion (CX). And doing that—especially for a 0-1 product—means finding the customers with the least possible snags upstream of the user experience. That means, all things being equal, pursuing the customer who has: One buying decision maker versus a team A simple contracting process versus a team of lawyers A buyer that directly oversees implementation versus interfacing with a PMO A buyer who has a direct line-of-sight to users versus a distant operation A small set of use cases you can dominate versus a large set you'll do just OK You may not be able to find customers who check all of these preferred boxes, but even checking 60% of the boxes should make the sales cycle significantly faster. You'll either win more or learn more a heck of a lot faster, giving yourself a much greater chance of survival.
