We’re hiring (and we promise, it’s not boring). Looking for a place where ideas matter more than titles? Where your quirks are an asset, not a liability? Welcome to Checkpoints We’re building a team of doers, dreamers, and occasional disrupters to create big things. But don’t worry, we’re not here to stifle you with endless meetings about meetings. What we care about (in order of importance): You know your stuff. You’re curious, adaptable, and quick on your feet. You get what we’re about and want to build something that matters. What we don’t care about: Your stance on tea vs cofee. Your resume’s fancy formatting. Whether you pronounce “gif” with a hard G or soft G. What you’ll actually do here: Solve problems with creative flair. Bring your unique perspective and tell us when we’re wrong. Build systems, products, or ideas that don’t collapse under their own weight. Challenge the norm and surprise us with something we didn’t even know we needed. Who we really are (cutting through the corporate BS): Innovators: We automate, streamline, and outthink challenges because who has time for inefficiency? Multi-taskers: We thrive on variety, spinning multiple plates at once. It’s chaotic but beautiful. Hop on board if you’ve ever felt like the majority slowed you down. Culture lovers: We take pride in our shared values, like making sure the office snack drawer is always full. Who we’re not: Fans of micromanaging (you’ll hate it here if you need constant hand-holding). The type to say, “That’s just how it’s done” (we’ll probably break it and make it better). A company where everyone wears suits (we tried once; it was weird). How to apply: Skip the 10-page cover letter. Just send us something cool you’ve worked on to b.hunalp@rhreflex.com. Bonus points if it’s something weird, clever, or unexpected.

While the world's eyes are fixed on Washington DC's historic moment this week, millions of North Americans are living their own pivotal chapters. As a new #POTUS takes the oath of office, countless hiring managers are reviewing resumes. As inaugural speeches echo across the National Mall, job seekers are preparing for interviews in coffee shops nationwide. The pageantry of democracy happens every few years, but the quiet determination of North Americans seeking their next career opportunity unfolds every single day. To those balancing news alerts with job alerts, crafting cover letters while historical speeches play in the background – your persistent effort to build your future matters just as much as the headlines. This week reminds us: transformation happens at every level. Whether it's in a government or your house, change requires courage, resilience, and unwavering hope. To my network: While we witness history, let's not forget to support those making their own personal history. Share opportunities. Make introductions. Be the change you want to see happen at every level. https://lnkd.in/gpMPmZnz #Inauguration2025 #POTUS #USPresident #JobSearch #Careers #Leadership #Change #WashingtonDC #ExecutiveTransition #AmericanDream #HiringNow #JobSeekers #CareerChange #WorkforceTransition #USPolitics #CareerAdvice #ProfessionalDevelopment

Hiring the Right Attitude Working alongside people who bring more than just skills to the table – they bring the right attitude. You may not have experience. You may be stepping into a role where everything feels new and unfamiliar. Scary isn’t to be out of our comfort zone? But what matters most is our willingness to learn, to ask questions, to make mistakes, and to improve. In my experience, working individuals/colleagues with the right mindset can outshine those with years of experience. They’re open, adaptable, and driven to become the best at what they do. #AttitudeOverExperience #GrowthMindset #ContinuousLearning

I hired someone who was retrenched. She’d never done the job before. Here’s why: - She shared our values. - She had the right attitude. At the end of the interview, she asked, “Is it okay I don’t have legal recruitment experience?” I smiled and said, “When I started, I didn’t have any legal recruitment experience either. Someone took a chance on me—and look where I am now. I'm ready to take a chance on you.” Here’s what I’ve learned after years of hiring: Chasing the 'perfect resume' is a waste of time. You don’t need a flawless background. You need someone with the right attitude. Resumes don’t work. People do. During interviews, forget the resume. Have a real conversation. Instead of what you’ve done, let’s talk about who you are. Attitude trumps experience. Every. Single. Time. -- Share this post if you agree! ♻️. And follow Shulin Lee for more insights. P.S. We are hiring! DM me if you're interested.

A recruiting agency owner asked me how to compete when more than one agency is working on a role. One way to ensure that you win the placement is with Hiring Events How to do a Hiring Event? Here's a done-for-you SOP Objective: To stand out among competitors utilizing hiring events as a game-changing strategy to fill roles efficiently and effectively. Key Steps: ✅ Introduce the Concept: When onboarding a client or taking a req, explain to the client that part of your proven process is Hiring Events ✅ Plan the Event: Set a date that works for all decision-makers involved. ✅ Gather a pool of potential candidates for the role. It's amazing to see how fast recruiters find candidates when there's a date already set for interviews. Execution: ✅ Conduct the hiring event virtually, or at your client's office or your office. My order of preference is 1) their office 2) your office 3) Zoom ✅ Schedule interviews with candidates and decision-makers. ✅ Allow time for feedback between interviews. ✅ Bring snacks! ✅ Obtain feedback from decision-makers throughout the process. Decision-making: ✅ At the end of the day, based on feedback and discussions, select candidates to move forward in the hiring process. ✅ Proceed with necessary background checks and onboarding procedures for selected candidates. Cautionary Notes: ✅ Ensure clear communication with the client and candidates about the hiring event process. Let everyone know what to expect and be organized. ✅ Keep track of time during interviews to maintain a structured and efficient schedule. ✅ Be prepared to handle multiple candidates and decision-makers simultaneously. Tip: ✅ Encourage your team to use the event as not only a way to fill one role but to deepen relationships with your client. What do you think -- Is this a new concept to you or have you tried hiring events? https://lnkd.in/gWQa7Epq
