CASE: Here is a patient with neurogenic claudication from degenerative disc disease and spinal stenosis. Instead of a laminectomy and fusion, we used the Inspan for indirect decompression and segment stabilization for posterior fusion in an ASC. The patient experienced immediate improvement post-op. CASE: Here is a patient with degenerative disc disease at L2-3 and unstable spondylolisthesis treated in an ASC by Orthopedic Spine Surgeon Dr. Erik Spayde, MD. After performing a lateral interbody fusion and a posterior decompression, Inspan was placed to stabilize the segment for posterior fusion. This technique offers strong posterior fixation with minimal tissue disruption while avoiding risks associated with traditional pedicle screws, such as neural, vascular, and dural injury, as well as accelerated ASD. CASE: Here is a 59-year-old patient who struggled with right leg radiculopathy and neurogenic claudication for many years. Modern midline lumbar fusion, No pedicle screws Case of a 45-year-old active male who presented with longstanding back pain and neurogenic claudication due to L5-S1 severe degenerative disc disease with stenosis and grade 1+ spondylolisthesis. At 3DMorphic we provide surgeons with PSI options to achieve the desired correction for the patient.  In this 3DMorphic case, the 53yo male patient was diagnosed with L4 lateral hemivertebrae and degenerative changes at the L4/L5 and L5/S1 levels, which caused him escalating back and bilateral leg pain. This is explained by the loss of disc and neuroforaminal heights.  The surgeon decided to implant patient specific fusion devices at L4/L5 and L5/S1 levels. To accommodate intraoperative variations, 3DMorphic provided different device sizes for each level. All devices were designed to fit the endplate anatomy, maintaining optimal contact footprint, but with different heights and lordotic angles.  The surgeon made the intra-operative decision to implant the smallest option at L4/L5 whilst using a larger option at L5/S1.
