DAU will host the annual Acquisition Update in the virtual environment on February 21-22, 2024 where you will hear from numerous Defense Acquisition senior leaders. The theme for this year is “Focusing Acquisition on Warfighter Supremacy”. The Acquisition Update is open to the Defense Acquisition Workforce and public audience, which includes government civilians and members of the military and industry. Last year's event reached over twelve thousand attendees, and DAU has actively worked to schedule prominent speakers and relevant topics to surpass the prior year’s success. The purpose is to provide a powerful event that is relevant to all attendees, particularly those representing the Defense Acquisition Workforce working tirelessly with the sustainment organizations and the Defense Industrial Base to enable our nation's Warfighters to achieve the National Defense Strategy. The comprehensive two-day agenda provides the audience a unique opportunity to listen to many prominent senior leaders from across the Department of Defense and other agencies share their insights, perspectives, and experiences. Throughout both days, there will be numerous panels and presentations which address topics central to the success of Defense Acquisition.
