Thanks to Leila and the other personal finance experts who shared their insights on this important topic. There's still a lot of work to be done to help women effectively plan for the upcoming $30 trillion generational wealth transfer.
National Head, Fiduciary Advisory Services at BMO Wealth Management | Helping clients with Corporate Trustee and Wealth Management needs
I’m so excited to be quoted in this great Kiplinger article about the importance of estate planning for women and the unique issues that we should be thinking about. It’s anticipated that $30 trillion will be passed down to women in the next decade, whether through inheritance, divorce or business succession. And of course more and more women are starting their own businesses and building their own fortunes through their careers. All of that makes it so important that women surround themselves with a fantastic team that they really like and trust, including a great financial advisor, wealth planner, estate planning attorney and accountant. Attending Women & Wealth or other similar events where they can feel comfortable asking questions and chat with other women in their same situation can be a wonderful way to educate themselves and help them find their perfect team. I’m so happy that these topics are being talked about and am incredibly grateful to Deborah Yao for writing this article! #bmowealthmanagement #bmogrowthegood
