Have you ever thought working elves and fairy tales could come true? I want to tell you they possibly will happen! Here we demonstrate how our little but strong robot handles the loading/unloading process without any human assistance, just like a little elf helps you complete repetitive work at midnight, and then you finally find everything gets done with a blink! In this video, the robot carried 29 pallets in 54 minutes, approximately 32 pallets an hour. Now, let's crunch some numbers! Imagine you're struggling to find a forklift operator, and the operational expense amounts to $0.57 per pallet (based on a $20 hourly rate for carrying 35 pallets on average). This "elf" robot could potentially generate a value of approximately $18.20 per hour, resulting in $290 per day and a staggering $58,000 annually, assuming 16 hours of daily operation over a 200-day work year. If your operation schedule is more intensive, the robot can definitely generate greater value! AGVREADY! SNAPSHOT FROM FORK PRODUCTION Our latest project: AGV forks with SmartFork® technology for the automated storage process. Of particular note is the fork tip distance sensor system. The fork tip's redundant mechanical collision protection system, which uses inductive sensors, generates an electrical signal when it comes into contact with an object, which is used by the AGV's control unit to initiate the braking process. The same applies to the load stop function in the fork back. If the pressure is too strong, the sensor triggers an impulse and the machine also stops. A few posts ago, I shared that one of Cyngn’s AVs led to a 33% increase in efficiency. However, there’s more. It also led to a 64% reduction in labor costs per pallet compared to using a manual forklift. In a typical warehousing operation, total annual savings could exceed $100,000 given sufficient pallet throughput. This really just shows how quickly this technology can improve daily operations.
